8 Storm/CAUAC
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Peak Tone 8 is the Holy Day of every trecena holding the Intention of Justice in harmony and equity with the whole. The Transformation phase begins on Tone 8, carried out by a Power of Divine Agency. Love is the Intention that is aligned in Divine Trinity with the Creators purpose. The work we’ve invested is the measure of Divine Justice to balance the scales.
When we kneel in humility to our Human limitations we’ve completed Human’s work. From the Creator’s perspective that’s the full investment of our Heart.
Storm/CAUAC is the Destiny Kin of the “midwife who delivers.” CAUAC opens the path to be born into the Light. CAUAC is the Power that ignites our “lightning in the blood,” the Gift of Spirit known by the Maya as the “sixth sense of the heart.”
The glyph illustrates the Lightning of the thundercloud following a path that leads to the streamers of positive energy that are raised from Earth. The circle with the cross-hatch design represents Human’s veiled Consciousness. We have to reach beyond the Truth we know to be transformed into something new. Faith will always be transformed into Knowing, when we are honest with our self, and we know we did the best we could, in spite of our Human limitations. We are claimed from Above by the Creator of Light.

Eternal Flame
CAUAC offers a Renewal and Regeneration of our Spirit. Human’s heart is drawn to the Heart of Sky. The trecena of CAUAC that came before was the “first light” of Truth for us to apply so we can manifest the Truth as the Wisdom of our own experience. Peace comes through the Truth that we are loved just as we are. Our own Choice to Give Back manifests the Momentum and Flow of Loving back and forth.
By Divine Design Humans are called to the safety of a Sanctuary within, when we see a stormcloud on the horizon. We are called home where we Know we will always belong. The Element of Water is the conductor of the power of Love that flows through the heart. Starm/CAUAC is exalted by the zenith hour of Light. We know our Faith is True whenever the Creator is our last and only hope. The Heart of Sky honors every prayer. We are transformed by every Choice to reach in our darkest night.
Residing in the West, CAUAC can raise the Balance of Faith we need to transform our doubts and fears. A Divine Hand never fails to reach us where we are. We’ll never be perfect. Divine Justice is the promise for Loving the best we can.
On days led by CAUAC we can experience the Peace beyond understanding, when the Creator raises our Faith to knowing.
The Time is ordered to seek Peace in the eye of the storm in Divine Communion. The Divine Choice is to be “in the world,” but not “of the world.” Then we can enjoy the Lightning’s display and see all others as the parade that goes passing by at the parameter of our Life.
A power that’s brighter and hotter than the Sun can weld us to the Hand Above. The promise is that we only have to ask and the Creator will never let us go. CAUAC can deliver the Inspiration for a Dream we Love and that we Know we will carry to its end. CAUAC shines a light on our path and shares a glimpse of the whole landscape of a new life.
One of Human’s “challenges” of Consciousness is that there are an unlimited number of things we hold the power to create. It’s easy to get drawn away from the singleness of our purpose. CAUAC can help us clear a path to our future through a renewal of our energy.
Monday morning in Coffeyville is trash collection day. I was drawn to break down a dozen cardboard boxes to throw away. Back in February I was inspired by a lady on youtube who makes awesome things from cardboard boxes. So, I started saving them. After they were all cleared out for the trash I realized that clinging to them was only a distraction of “something I needed to do first” to make time for something I’d love to do, after. It’s easy to be distracted from the straight path to our Dreams. If God inspires a dream from cardboard boxes, God will provide the cardboard boxes. Love inspires creation when the Divine Inspiration grabs our heart.
CAUAC moves us to carry on through a renewal and regeneration of Spirit. A Divine One clears the way, when it’s Divine Time to move on. I have everything I need. That’s all I want. God will inspire the dream that’s our own invention that inspires us to begin again.
The West represents the darkness of the creative void where all things are possible. When we reach in from the Truth of Love, our Dream will be Beautiful and like no other. It doesn’t matter how small it may seem. Creation begs creation and Love begets Love.
May we give thanks for the Divine Hand that is leading us to the Light. Our Heart will know the Dream we will claim because we Love. The Unbridled Freedom to be and to wait until we “see the light.” If we keep reaching to know and turning to the Source of all Creative Inspiration, our Time will come. Focusing on the One is the Easy way to receive.
love, in lak’ech,

8 Storm/CAUAC, Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA – Day 8 of 13 of the 1 Road/EB Trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, from MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’
Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.
A GOOD DAY TO: Count your lessons as blessings and your enemies as angels.
Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus. Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.
