THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: Feeling Our Way

9 Reed/BEN, Cherokee Reed/I’HYA, Destiny Kin 113, Position 13
Greetings Kin,
The Peak Tone 9 completes a Transformation through an Intention of Patience to see the bigger picture. Tone 9 warns that there could be could be suffering to bear for a lack of insight. The Number 9 symbolizes the completion of a Divine End, through the exponential power of a Trinity Above and Below. 3 x 3 symbolizes an exponential Power of the Holy, Holy, Holy.
Reed represents a channel for Communion with Spiritual realm. The Reed represents the “hollow bone.” The channel is opened through Humility. The Element of Fire is the passion of Spirit that “burns the flesh from the bone.” When we overcome the desires of the Ego we are empty vessel opened to receive the Light of Divine Inspiration.
Reed/BEN is the guiding Light for Family and Home. BEN is an inherent state of mind that is opened when we become the leader of a family. We are humbled by the experience of Unconditional Love on behalf of the children. We realize a Higher Love for the ones that follow, knowing we’d risk our Life to save them. Inherent ways are a reflection of the Creator’s Divine Design. The Light of BEN insures that Life will carry on.
It’s natural for us to want to pass on the Wisdom we learned by our own experience. Though, BEN reminds us that the Children are the future. Our Dreams change, hoping that they can learn more than we know. BEN comes with the advice that it’s better to use a “garden hose” than a “steel pipe.” Our Truth is based on a whole different set of circumstances and experiences than the children of tomorrow. It’s more important to engage the thoughts of the Children who were born Sages from the beginning. The Most important Truth we know to share is the Promise of Answered Prayers.
We can’t foresee the changes that a new generation will face. In this time of rapidly accelerating change that point should be clear. Their only hope is Faith that carries on. Children want to walk in our shoes. They naturally think that we are the end-all resource of Wisdom. The real loss of innocence is learning we’re Human, bound to failures.
Instead of trying to prove we know everything and we’re “never wrong” (that’s the steel pipe), it’s Wise to share the Truth that we ALL make mistakes. When we humble our self to the children, then will understand the most important thing is what we do, after. Beyond all human reason, we’re bound to the Love we first knew. Parents hold a grave responsibility for the damage than can be done when children are not treated as our equals.
They see and remember everything, and in their innocence and blind faith that we are always “right” they are bound to share the Truth. Everyone who has held a position as a grownup caretaker wields the power of a “parent.” We’ve all had to learn the hard way that “grownups” don’t always have our best interests at heart.
There’s only one answer to cover the effects of every Human limitation. We have to “believe what we say” and believe a Divine Creator will answer OUR prayers. The happiness of our children depends on our Highest Hopes and the Humility it takes to share the Truth about life. The best thing we can do is to be an open channel. When we fail to answer questions that “children are too young to know” we can at least say it’s an important question and when the Time is right, we want to share the details when they are able to understand. “To young to know” means the children will go to any length and to anyone to find out. They won’t just forget. We can learn to share SOMETHING they CAN understand. When we teach them the Golden Rules and their own Right to Choose, we’ve done the best we can. Life is full of hard lessons. Children need to know that they are not to blame for the choices that others can make.
No matter how hard we try, we will fail. If we’re honest about our failures and humble our self at an altar, they’ll remember there’s a place to go for every Human limitation. Hindsight is always 20/20. We need to remember there’s a Power Greater than our Self, and everything will be okay. Sometimes it’s very hard to hold Faith for those we Love more than our self.
When we kneel at an altar we remember what the Creator can do is beyond all Human imagination. We ALL have to Live to Learn. The children can learn from our mistakes, if we’re humble. It sounds easy and feels impossible. We’re ALL Human. Our Intentions to Love matter. There’s a reason for our limitations, so we can see and claim that Miracle are True when a Divine Creator turns our darkness to Light.
The glyph illustrates an altar with two channels of Light as the Truth that descends from Above. Below are thatched prayer mats for two to kneel as one. May we ask to believe as much for “the other” as we do for our self. May we remember that Unconditional Love of the Highest One is the Answer to Every Prayer. When we fail, may we share the big picture that God will always be there and God will find a way.
Family and Home represents our inherent need to know we belong. On days led by BEN it’s still a tradition in the Maya lands to check in on the neighbors. When we teach the children that charity extends beyond the home, they will know the way to create their own place to belong.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
Divine Father,
Only you can make right all the ways we’ve failed when we were trying to Love. The Truth is beyond us to figure out how to make things right. We need you more than ever. Help us to believe in our own prayers. We give thanks that you’re there for us even in our doubts and fears, and you know every Divine Way to bring Peace and Love beyond our Imagination.
Help us lead the children of tomorrow to find their way to you so you can fix what is beyond a Human hand to ever make right. Burn away our ego and pride so we can be humbled before you. May we allow everyone to Live and Learn and remember our Life matters too.
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN

9 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA) – Day 9 of 13 in the Serpent CHICCHAN’s cycle of “light.”
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all o their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible vies and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe. Bless or repair your house.
A GOOD DAY TO: Bless or repair the home.
Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini. Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind. A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.
