12 Offering / MULUC
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Offering/MULUC represents the Moon, our Emotions, and Water everywhere, from the cosmos to our tears. MULUC guides the Divine Way of Giving Back and Paying Forward. The Creator’s Sacred Exchange for an Offering is Atonement.
a·tone·ment (noun)
reparation for a wrong or injury; (in religious contexts) reparation or expiation for sin.
[Oxford Languages]
Atonement is the concept of a person taking action to correct previous wrongdoing on their part, either through direct action to undo the consequences of that act, equivalent action to do good for others, or some other expression of feelings of remorse. From the Middle English attone or atoon (“agreed”, literally “at one”), now meaning to be “at one”, in harmony, with someone. Atonement “is closely associated to forgiveness, reconciliation, sorrow, remorse, repentance, reparation, and guilt”. It can be seen as a necessary step on a path to redemption. Wikipedia
The glyph represents one drop of Living Water raised up. Through an Offering of the Heart, blessings ripple through the whole. MULUC offers a way for emotional healing on a mass scale. This is a day to honor your feelings and the feelings of the whole.
Number 12:12:12
Number 12 is a symbol of Humanity and the Intention of Understanding. Comprehension is the Truth taken to Heart. Symbols are magnified by repetition. By Northern count this is the Year 12 Road/EB, another symbol of Humanity (12). 12 MULUC makes 3, the symbol of Divine Trinity.
Truth clears our way to the Creator’s Highest End of Divine Justice. The Truth calls for a sacrifice of our Heart and our Human emotions. Understanding is a Choice to Give Back that Pays Forward. The Truth always speaks for itself as Common Sense. There’s no sense in defending our Feelings when we suffer from injustices of the world. Everyone knows the Truth of Common Sense. When someone doesn’t understand, they don’t choose to know.
MULUC is a symbol of the “Christ Spirit,” the wounded healer who makes the ultimate sacrifice to leave everything in the Hands of the Highest One who is the Divine Witness to the Truth. There are no stories of the Savior explaining the suffering of bearing a cross on the road to Calvary.
Matthew 13: 9-13
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
There’s a moral to every story that was told by the Elders. Our mind is open to listen when we hear the facts of a matter about someone else. It’s always up to us to hear the moral and apply the Truth within. Divine Wisdom is a matter of sacrificing the Heart to know the Truth at any cost.
“Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony.”
Our tears are the Holy Water that reveal the Truth we Feel in our Heart. Tears reveal we DO know the Truth and we DO understand. Truth and Understanding always restores the equilibrium of Right Relationship and Atonement with the One Above and the Whole Below.
We waste so much time covering up the Truth. Everyone knows when “the emperor is wearing no clothes.” We only imposes more suffering upon suffering when we try to fool our self. It’s easy to forgive when we stand as equals in all our Human limitations, bearing the same doubts and fears and the lies of the evil one that there’s no way out except to run away. We all fail one another by our Human Nature. “To err is human; to forgive, Divine.”
Our lives will always matter to the One Above. When we’re willing to make the sacrifice, our Heart knows we are worthy of the promise by the One who will always stand in our corner. The first Offering was the Promise from Above.

The Elders say that whenever we bring an offering, the value should reflect what we would expect to receive in return. That suggests that we should Count our Blessings before every Offering we make to the Creator. When we take the time to count our blessings and they never end we know the sacrifice of our Human emotions is the least we can do to express the Truth of the Creator’s Unconditional Love.
A Divine Reason for the sacrifice puts an end to our suffering. We may still feel the pain, but we’ll always remember the promise in the end.
The Cherokee Day sign is the River, the course of least resistance for the water that is returned to Sea. At the Delta, where the river meets the Sea, all our worldly matters are left behind when we are restored as One. Our Spirit is carried through the Element of Water. When we die all our water is returned to Mother Earth. The Spirits of the Ancestors are with us in the clouds, in the rain that falls, and in all the water that flows back to sea.
Through the Offering of Understanding and the choice to face the Truth, we are redeemed and all the sorrows of guilt and shame can become “water under the bridge,” never to be seen again.
in lak’ech, I am another you

THE JAGUAR’S MAGIC OF GRATITUDE
I’m grateful for the Peace beyond all Human Understanding when we humble our self to the One Above.

12 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA) – Day 12 of 13 in the 1 Flint/ETZNAB cycle of Truth from Above
CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal in the Center of the Tzolk’in is compared to our own axis mundi, the center of our own universe where we are always perfectly positioned at the center of the 4 directions. The axis is the “line around which any body rotates.” Like a spinning gyroscope, we find our balance in a relationship shared between the Above and the Below. Holding a focus within the center of our Self, we reside in the place of perfect balance.
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
A GOOD DAY TO: Offer appreciation for all of Creation.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
