Greetings Beloved Kin,

2 Monkey / CHUEN

2 Monkey / CHUEN

Monkey/CHUEN is the nahaul/essence of the Creator’s Power to manifest the Beauty of Love. The Love of the Love of the Dog is the muse for a Divine Masterpiece. The Monkey is the Divine Genius of the animal kingdom. The Monkey is a trickster of the Maya. The Raccoon is another by the Cherokee tradition. If the Truth be known, they’re smarter than the Humans who don’t always have the sense to apply the Truth they already know.

We need a trickster to learn the hardest Truth about our self. The medicine goes down easier when we apply a sense of humor. We can laugh at our limitations, when we apply the Truth we know about the Divine Law of Cause and Effect. (Sometimes, we love our misery when we think we “deserve” to be mad.)

CHUEN offers the Consciousness to remember the end we want is Life, Love, and Happiness. We can follow the Dog’s way. The Dog doesn’t hold a grudge when an offering of Love is turned away. Why waste the Time, when there are endless opportunities that are ready and waiting to receive the blessing.

CHUEN is the Magician  and Time Traveler called the “weaver  of Time.” The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on  the head of the Monkey. Consciousness is the Gift to remember how we all get caught up in everyday matters that Feel like “life or death.” We were given the power to go back in time, or travel to the future. CHUEN is the Master of all Arts with the sense to raise the threads of beauty on the tapestry of our Life. There’s one good thing we can always celebrate about the hard times in our past. It’s over. Most of the Time, we’re okay in the Here and Now. What we are doing today, will lead to the memories of tomorrow. Now is the Time to “Seize the Day.”

Tone 2 raises our Consciousness of Duality. Tone 2 raises the question, “to be or not to be.” What Will be tomorrow always depends on what we choose today.

Looking back through my journals I found that 2 Monkey/CHUEN marks blessings that feel like Deja Vu. You may remember you’ve already reached an end that seemed impossible not so long ago. This is a day to celebrate what’s finally here and now. Go back to remember how it happened. It didn’t take “forever.” In fact, now it may feel like it happened overnight.

The Signs we look for to hold Faith are Truths we already know. There’s an experience within where we can look to see and Remember that lots of “impossible Dreams” come true.

We’re on a course of an every-expanding orbit based on the Truth we learn every time around. We’ve seen it all before.

We’re reaching an new ending in the 9th uinal, where Time will repeat itself again. We only have remember what we already know. Monkey/CHUEN holds the element of Living Water that carries the Truth from our Head to our Heart.

We don’t have to know our way to the end. One thing will lead to another when we take the first step. CHUEN represents the Consciousness of a Divine Creator who inspires us every day with something we Remember.

The Creator’s Will is the last word on everything. If Love is what we intend to create, a Power Greater than our Self will lead us to the end of every Dream that was Inspired from Above.

May we give thanks that a Creator of the Highest Order is more than enough to lead every step of the way. That was the plan from the beginning.

in lak’ech, i am another you,

Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Tzolk’in round. The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.

NEW SEASON – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)

NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same date before. You can also look for Signs in the “distance of time” – the number of days between one day and another, from the Time and Date Calculator linked on the resources page. Example – 33 days is a symbol of a day that you actualize the Truth from the beginning date.

2 Monkey Chuen (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI ) – Day 2 of 13 of the 1 Dog/OC trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 2: Duality; Mysterious as the question “to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the May as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. It is also considered to be one of the most fortunate and lucky day signs.

A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: The Racoon Symbol is Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
