TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN: DAWN OF A BEAUTIFUL CREATION
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
1 Monkey/CHUEN, Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI, Kin 131, Position 11
April 13, 2024 (04/13/2024)
Greetings Beloved Kin,
The Monkey is the Genius of the Animal Kingdom. Human is honored by the comparison. Monkeys may lack the vocal skills, but there’s no lack in their ability to express themselves without a filter. Every creation of Beauty starts from the Inspiration from the Source of Divine Genius.
Monkey/CHUEN’s Position in the climb to Higher Consciousness of the Truth is the Master’s Number 11. 11 is the symbol of the Source of Divine Illumination. The Time is ordered for the world we would create from a Divine Vision of the future. Monkey’s are masters of efficiency, creating tools for creation. CHUEN is the “weaver of time” and the alchemyst at play.
Life in the world is no more than a fantasy of collaborating thoughts. In our final Ascension we wake up to the Truth, “It was just a Dream.” We could be happy we woke up from a nightmare. Or, we could realize a Dream we Love lasts forever.
‘We Are Such Stuff As Dreams Are Made On,” – William Shakespeare (Play: The Tempest)
“All that we see or seem Is but a dream within a dream,” Edgar Allan Poe (Poem: A Dream Within a Dream)

The Fantasy of the world’s reality is created by the volume of thoughts in alignment, minus the sum of divided thoughts. Wars begin as simply a difference of opinion. The Vibration of thoughts that move through the Element of Air are amplified by Living Water when they move through the Heart.
Take your dreams seriously. It’s easy to assume “everyday” thoughts don’t’ amount to a thing. We Ascended from dreams of the world into the Creator’s Dream for our Life. If you have a sweet dream, record all the details. Don’t assume you will remember. Later, you’ll be grateful for every detail that brings it back to life. The Monkey and the Raccoon are tricksters who lead us to treasures that were tossed out with the trash. The Monkey recycles “useless spare parts” into perfect tools for creation. (Our fortune could lie in something everyone has been throwing in the trash. They might even pay us to carry it away.) We don’t have to be a hoarder, when everyone carries out the treasure on trash day. Let the inspiration come first, and become a trash collector, later, at the peak of your career. A Divine Creator always has the last laugh.
The next 13 Days…

1 Monkey/CHUEN
A CYCLE OF LIGHT
Monkey/CHUEN offers the Highest Light of Consciousness to Inspire our curiosity. Divine Dreams “come to us.” We don’t have to conjure them from a mind of reason. We apply reason to a dream that was God-given, to know what it means. The Monkey’s Muse is the Dog, the symbol of Unconditional Love.
When Humans only see lack, we reason the best way to spend every last dollar. If we discovered a treasure of Gold, we think more than once about how long every penny saved could last forever. This 13-day climb is the Light to imagine a treasure of Unlimited Resources.
The Lord is with us, celebrating our Ascension to the Consciousness of our Power to create a beautiful reality of our own, on Earth as it is in Heaven. We have everything we need to manifest The Creation of our Dreams. Positive thoughts repel the negative ones. Nothing is what it appears to be in a world where our Ego covers up the Truth through an opposite reflection of “all that is” the Truth.
Every variable we add to the process of discernment creates more Time to think, while we’re thinking. We may discover there’s more evidence to support “all that is not” when we imagine the opposite of what “we imagined” was the Truth.
THE 7TH AND 8TH UINALS
The Creator’s Unconditional Love heals the Human Emotions that once ruled our thoughts. Emotions are replaced by objective insight based on our own facts of a matter. In the 7th uinal we complete the Truth about our Self, without any outside interference. The Truth we Know is all we need to manifest Our Reality of the world. The “core days” reflects the Light at the Center of our True identity. The Truth gives us the Freedom To Be who we are, equal to all the rest. We won’t see our Wings until we complete the “core days,” but we already know we can fly. We manifest the Truth on 10 Sun/AHAU as a Divine Revelation.
The last 3 Days (Tones 11, 12, and 13) of the Monkey’s Creation are completed in the 8th uinal as our Divine Justice. From the 8th uinal to the end of the Tzolk’in round, our Dreams are carried on by Divine Intervention. The last 3 days share the Light and Truth of our Ascension.
THE GUARDIAN OF TIME
13 Night/AKBAL is the Guardian of the Monkey-Creator’s journey through the Unknown. The realm of our Dreams is the primordial soup. We can ask a Divine Father to draw forth the Creation of Divine Genius. A small thing of exponential value can awaken us to a MAJOR Truth. It may be easier to remember our Dream is coming true if we sprinkle a little fairy dust, just for fun.
Night/AKBAL is often a “dark night” of the soul. On 13 Night/AKBAL we’ll Ascend to the Truth of Answered Prayers. Our only sorrow may be wishing we’d had the sense to see it before. And, we’ll rise above that, when we realize the Creator holds all the Time in the world.
The Monkey is said to be the Master Artist that hardly finishes anything, before it runs to the next thing. It makes sense, if the Creator is going to finish it anyway. We share the end with the Creator long before we’ve completed the expression on the canvas. We were all born to be abstract artists, leaving the end to a Hand that completes the Signature of Beauty.
THE LUNAR YEAR OF THE DRAGON
The Dragon is the symbol of the energy of Divine Illumination. Symbols are magnified by repetition. 11 Crocodile/IMIX begins the 8th uinal sharing “wild ideas” out the blue in random order. Now we’ll have the pieces to the puzzle. MARK YOUR CALENDAR for April 23, 2024. The Time is ordered for a “wild idea” in its Highest Resolution. (“Coincidentally,” April 23rd is the next Full Moon, 11 Days from today.)
April’s Full Pink Moon
April’s full moon is widely known as the Full Pink Moon, even though it doesn’t actually turn pastel pink as the name suggests. The Full Pink Moon’s name comes from the abundance of moss phlox, a common little pink flower that typically begins to spread across the ground in early spring. With that said, this creeping phlox is not the only thing that begins blooming during the Full Pink Moon.
In many Native American tribes, April’s full moon is associated with the bustling life and vibrant growth of spring. In Sioux culture, it’s named after the sprouting of red grass. The Comanche tribe called it the New Spring Moon, and both the Tlingit and Sioux tribes referred to it as the Budding Moon, after the new plants that begin to bud and sprout during spring. The Cherokee tribe even called it the Flower Moon (though that name is also sometimes used to refer to May’s full moon), and celebrated it for the growth of useful medicinal plants and magical herbs. Western Astrology: Full Moon in Scorpio
Darkness, glamor, mystery, and romance commingle under the Scorpio full moon on April 23, which brings an intense and transformative energy to the table. This astrological event pushes for change and emotional honesty, though some may struggle to share what lies beneath the surface. Be thoughtful when discussing intimate matters, remaining fully present and aware of how others respond to your words. Consider how certain partnerships affect your overall wellbeing, taking into account if the ties that bond you are worth holding onto. The shadow side of this lunation reveals where manipulation, jealousy, and possessiveness create toxicity, bringing startling revelations to dynamics that are operating from a lower vibration. We’ll be “fully illuminated” by a Light of Spring to seek the Truth directly from the Light Above. The Full Moon should magnify the Light of Divine Illumination that carries us to our Highest Measure of Divine Justice. We emerge from the “core days” with a balanced view. We’ll lean toward counting our blessings, and forget about our “final revenge.” A Divine Dream can captivate our Heart and Mind.
THE HOLY DAY: 8 Flint/ETZNAB
8 Flint isn’t an official observance, though every Tone 8 represents the Zenith Hour, when we receive the most powerful dose of Light. Flint shares the Unexpected Truth that’s been hidden or covered up. The Truth of an Offering from Above will be exalted as our most Divine Resource for a New Creation. Our Heart will be grasped by the Light on 9 Storm/CAUAC, when we see the Big Picture, and Faith is turned to Knowing.
The Time is ordered for the Fun of Creation. No matter what we create for fun, we open the channel for the “next thing” that leads to a stroke of Divine Genius. Monkey/CHUEN is all about Dreams and Creation. Revisit a childhood dream you can’t forget because you couldn’t figure out what it means. Now, it could make perfect sense, when we apply the Wisdom of Time. You might clearly see the Creator was sharing the Truth, even when you were “too young to know,” knowing you would understand one day.
Bring gifts to the altar in advance for the Sacred Exchange to express gratitude that we are not alone. And, wherever you go, wear your dancing shoes.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you
Sweet dreams.
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
THE JAGUAR’S MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful for the Divine ways the Creator leads us to Love the Time of our Life.

The field guide includes the highlights for each trecena and the aspects for every day.
Volume 2 includes the 3rd and 4th Season of the Tzolk’in, and Monkey/CHUEN is the first trecena.
We are ALL the guru’s of our own journey. Don’t count on anyone else for the Truth you already “know by feeling” within.
1 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) – Day 1 of 13, the 1 Monkey/CHUEN trecena of Creation
CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal in the Center of the Tzolk’in is compared to our own axis mundi, the center of our own universe where we are always perfectly positioned at the center of the 4 directions. The axis is the “line around which any body rotates.” Like a spinning gyroscope, we find our balance in a relationship shared between the Above and the Below. Holding a focus within the center of our Self, we reside in the place of perfect balance.
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STARor MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart. (Maybe we’ll get some clearer photos of the 12P Pons-Brooks “demon comet.”)
