8 Monkey/CHUEN

Greetings Beloved Kin,

The Saq’ Be’ (sock bey) is the Sacred White Road, the Milky Way and the Spiritual Path of our Journey through Time to a Destination beyond the Stars. The New Year is celebrated as a High Holy Day by both the Yucatec (North) and K’iche tradition (South).

Human’s way of celebrating the New Year is a remembrance that completes the past in celebration of Auld Lang Syne, “May old acquaintance be forgotten and never brought to Light.” Auld Lang Syne is the Song of a Divine Choice to Forgive the sins between one and another, and to Forget as the Creator Forgives to Bless the Future.

7 Dog/OC stands equal to 8 Monkey/CHUEN at the Peak of Human’s Divine Consciousness. Unconditional Love is the Dog’s way of “gathering souls to heaven.” Monkey/CHUEN is the Architect of Creation, the Master of the Divine Art Inspired by the Dog’s Love for every member of the pack. United as One, we create a Divine future.

8 B’aatz is the Day we celebrate our Next Return and the Beauty we will create from the Seed of Unconditional Love. This round falls in synchronicity to end on October 5, 2025, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. We will Sow the Seed of Unconditional Love at the Spring Equinox that will be gathered in at the Full Harvest Moon, October 6-7, 2025. The October Full Moon is the “Hunter’s Moon” which represents the final Harvest, a blood sacrifice. The Full Moon October 6-7, 2025 will be the first Supermoon of the Year, when the Moon is in perigee, it’s closest position to Earth.

The New Year is Initiation Day for those who will dedicate their Time to the Purpose of Counting every Day that leads to a Divine Jubilee. The Way to Remember the Divine Intention is the Mission of the Mayan priest, the Deer who stands in Vigilance to Guard and Protect the whole on the Journey to Holy Ground.

John 15:13
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Central to the Sacred Fire Ceremony of the New Year celebration is the Count of Days. The Creator recorded our Count from the Day we were Born, and the Day we are all Born Again together when we take up the Mission of Life on 8 B’aatz. Every Day marks the beginning of a Divine Life that leads to the Creator’s Highest End. The Maya include the Name of the Day of birth in the given Name. In essence, the Count of Days calls the Name of every Human created by the Hand of God.

The Bible recounts the names of every generation as the “begats.” Those verses lost in translation as an “endless count.” The meaning lies in the Big Picture. The begats is a Count of the generations that lead to the Birth of Christ. The count ends as every new generation is born together by the Sacrifice of the Heart of Compassionate Love. The Savior Counted everyone worthy of the blessing.

Leviticus 25:8-9 – The Year of Jubilee
8 “You shall count seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall sound the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan.

In the book of Leviticus God spoke to Moses and offered the Way for the Atonement for everyone. It outlines the price to be paid as a blood sacrifice for those who have sinned against the children of God. In Hebrew, the book of Leviticus is named for its opening word, “vayikra,” meaning “and he called.” God promised that every name called would be redeemed by the Sacrifice that was paid by the one who “called their name” as a member of a Divine Family. By the Laws of the Universe and the Intention of Divine Justice someone has to pay the price of sin.

Yesterday, I attended a first meeting at the VFW Auxiliary. To belong you have to be a descendant of a Veteran of Foreign Wars, or of the line of a family member of VFW. The first order of business for new members was for someone to “vouch for the new member.” When the question was asked, a beloved cousin vouched for me. I was touched by the experience of someone who stood up and vouched for me in public. Upon moving back “home” I was cast out by my family as unworthy for my unconventional “spiritual path.” There was no place saved for me on the family pew at the death of my Mother or my Father, and no one called for the opportunity to be present for any final words. I dared to choose my own road.

It’s up to me to make the blood sacrifice to vouch for them. I’m not alone. Many families have been divided. Our war is never with another Human Being, but with evil that created a stronghold by gaining access through Human doubts and fears. In John’s Revelation from the Spirit of Christ, he was told that we are all doomed unless we Love one another as we did in the beginning. Dog/OC is the Hero that gathers Souls to Heaven. Monkey/CHUEN is the Creator who manifests the Beauty of God’s Creation.

As the names are called on the Mayan New Year, may we vouch for everyone as worthy of God’s Grace. No one earns it. The Masters and Saints of a Divine Ancestry vouched for us, just as Jesus did. Somewhere in our line, a Grandfather and Grandmother prayed for us before we were born.

May we Give Back and Pay Forward the Highest Blessing of all. Through the Choice, God will heal our emotions so we can forget for the Sake of Love. Instead of trying to forget, we’ll take up a Divine Mission to remember the Divine Cause and Effect.

Some call 666 the “mark of the devil.” I choose to believe the “mark of the devil” is a Divine-Sign-unseen. 666 is a symbol of Perfect Balance. As Above, and So Below 3 x 2 is 6. The “mark of God” is made Visible by Lord’s face that shines upon us.

The book of Numbers follows Leviticus’ instructions for the sacrifice in the Temple. In Numbers God told Moses how to bless the people gathered to heaven by a blood sacrifice. God said to call upon the Power of the Holy Spirit to bless our Self and the Whole.

Numbers 6:24-26 KJV
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace

We’ve all fallen short of the Glory of God. When the names are counted, may we forget the “enemy” and vouch for the whole as friends who shared the “hard road.” The Hero Story the Creator dreamed for us is the most Sacred Choice we can make.

May we Initiate our self to the Divine Count that leads to a Jubilee of Atonement. May we speak the blessing over our Self and the Whole, so God’s Face will shine upon us all. The Lord will lift up His countenance upon us. The chord we strike at every beginning is the Sound of a Creation that is sustained through the end.

Portal 1:11 and Symbol 10:11
The Seed/KAN trecena began on the 1:11 Portal (January 11, 2025). Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN share the Master’s numbers 10 and 11. Unconditional Love (10) makes it possible to create anything shared by the Light of Divine Inspiration (11). 13 Earth/CABAN guided us through 2024, and to the Haab Year 03/30/2025. 13 CABAN represents the Answer to a Prayer on Earth. The New Haab Year will be guided by 1 Wind/IK, Destiny Kin 222, the Promise of our Power to complete God’s Creation.

THE MAYAN NEW YEAR CELEBRATION: SACRED CEREMONY

The Wajxaqib’ B’atz’ New Year Page shares the traditions of the Mayan celebration and Initiation of the Daykeepers who dedicate themselves to the Count for every Day. The Mayan priest will call all 260 Names of the whole, including our Name. May we pray the Blessing of the Holy Spirit on behalf of everyone. The Christ Spirit vouched for everyone through a blood sacrifice. May we be Faithful as the Dog is Faithful to gather every Soul to heaven.

May we Rejoice in the Year of a Jubilee. It’s Always-Time to gather a Divine Harvest. The Seed we sow at the Spring Equinox will manifest the Harvest. We can even claim the devil’s work was turned to its Highest Purpose.

Mid-day Altar – Mayan New Year (11/30/2022)

A NOTE ABOUT DON ALEJANDRO, the High Priest of the Maya and indigenous tribes around the world. Recent visitors have searched for an Update on our “grandfather tata.” Previous posts have shared Joseph Giove’s name and contact information for the news. He has been my primary contact over the past years as someone who carried communications and donations on his personal visits to Guatemala. Joseph is also an Elder and he fell out of touch near the beginning of  2024. May we remember Joseph in our prayers.

Don Alejandro “Wandering Wolf” is the 13th generation Mayan priest, chosen to share the mysteries of the Mayan calendars in the Time of the 13th baktun (144,000 Days x 13). Tata’s journey is venerated around the world. We will know when tata ascends. He was well on his last 95th birthday (Jan 2024). May we carry on remembering tata in our prayers as the One who shared the Saq’ Be’.

TRECENA OF SEED/KAN: THE FACTS OF LIFE

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.

Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.

The Seed/KAN trecena is the beginning of Season 3, found in Volume 2.

NOTE: If you see repeating numbers, SacredScribes is a resource to check the meaning of Angel Numbers.

8 Monkey/CHUEN (K’iche, B’aatz, Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) – Day 8 of 13 Days of the trecena of 1 Seed/KAN

Altar for Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, October 31, 2018, Ruins at Ek’ Balam, in Gratitude for the Wisdom he shared from the Mayan calendars to gather a new tribe from around the world.

Galactic Tone 8:  Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
