The Light of Love and the Law Stand Together

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 01/18/2025

VENUS-SATURN CONJUNCTION: When the sun goes down tonight, step outside and look southwest. Venus and Saturn are having a close encounter in the twilight sky. Senol Sanli photographed the conjunction from Kırazlı-Bursa – Turkey:

The two planets are about two degrees apart, about the width of a human thumb held at arm’s length. Venus appears first, long before the sky fades to black, followed by Saturn, which is considerably dimmer. If you have a small telescope, toggle the optics between the two planets. You can see the rings of Saturn and the half phase of Venus in quick succession. Sky maps: Jan. 1819.

THIS COULD BE A FLARE-Y WEEKEND: Yesterday’s M7.4-class solar flare could be the opening salvo of a flare-y weekend. Three sunspots (3959, 3961, 3964) facing Earth have unstable magnetic fields. NOAA forecasters estimate a 70% chance of M-class flares and a 30% chance of X-flares on Jan. 18th.

BUSY SUNSET: Sunsets are busier than they used to be. Solar Maximum is peppering the solar disk with dark spots–and that’s not all:

A Busy “Sunset Strip” – Maximilian-Vlad Teodorescu of the Institute of Space Science in Romania

This picture of yesterday’s sunset shows plenty of activity both on the solar disk and in our planet’s atmosphere,” says Maximilian-Vlad Teodorescu of the Institute of Space Science in Romania. “There are sunspots, (some large some small), planes, birds, and the ripple effect of the different density layers in the distant air.”

The sunspot number has increased even more since yesterday, which means tonight’s sunset will be busy, too. Submit your photos here.

Mayan Time and Signs Above

8 Monkey/CHUEN is the Mayan New Year by the Count of the Human calendar of creation. Two Divine Forces stand together at the pinnacle of the uinal pyramid, a Higher Order of Time. 7 Dog/OC is the archetype that demonstrates the Creator’s Unconditional Love. 8 Monkey/CHUEN is “God the Creator,” the Master Artist who manifests the Beauty of Time. The New Year celebrates the Days ahead and is the Day of Initiation for those who choose to Count every Day of the 260-day Human calendar round. Today, every Day of the 260-Days will be called at the Sacred Fire Ceremony to bless every one. Both the North and South traditions of the Yucatec and the K’iche celebrate this Day, united in the Celebration of the New Year.

The 2 are reflected in the Heavenly Vault by Venus and Saturn. Venus is the symbol of the Scion, the whole of Humanity created to become a Personification of the Lord of all Creation. Saturn is the taskmaster planet who enforces the Law. Venus is the 2nd brightest “star” and Saturn is the 2nd largest planet in the solar system. The gravitational forces of Saturn require us to “lean in” to our Faith to stand up straight. (When Saturn resides in your zodiac sign for two years, it forces us to take action in areas of our life where we’ve fallen behind. There is no more procrastination when Saturn shines it’s Light.)

It’s said that when Saturn finally moves on, it leaves a blessing. The blessing is the strength to stand like we’ve never stood before. After leaning in to Faith to stand straight, it will feel easy to stand by the strength we created in facing the challenges within. Imagine how you feel when you complete every task in the pending file that magnified the burdens of life.

The New Year of Human’s calendar of creation, 8 Monkey/CHUEN (8 B’aatz by the K’iche Name) is Time to Balance the Scales of Justice by the Truth of Love in an Offering of the Christ Spirit within, a blood sacrifice. This is a Day to honor our own blood, sweat, and tears that led us to Grow into the One who is willing to suffer them all to become the wounded-healer that saves the whole.

Whether or not the conditions are favorable to clearly see the 2 together, it’s a Holy Night to step outside and Offer our Gratitude and Appreciation to the Lord that created the Stars as Signs for every one.

A NOTE ABOUT DON ALEJANDRO, the High Priest of the Maya and indigenous tribes around the world. Recent visitors have searched for an Update on our “grandfather tata.” Previous posts have shared Joseph Giove’s name and contact information for the news. He has been my primary contact over the past years as someone who carried communications and donations on his personal visits to Guatemala. Joseph is also an Elder and he fell out of touch near the beginning of  2024. May we remember Joseph in our prayers.

Don Alejandro “Wandering Wolf” is the 13th generation Mayan priest, chosen to share the mysteries of the Mayan calendars in the Time of the 13th baktun (144,000 Days x 13). Tata’s journey is venerated around the world. We will know when tata ascends. He was well on his last 95th birthday (Jan 2024). May we carry on remembering tata in our prayers as the One who shared the Saq’ Be’ – the Sacred Road of our Spirit that leads us back to the place we first belonged.

TRECENA OF SEED/KAN: THE FACTS OF LIFE

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.

Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.

The Seed/KAN trecena is the beginning of Season 3, found in Volume 2.

NOTE: If you see repeating numbers, SacredScribes is a resource to check the meaning of Angel Numbers.

8 Monkey/CHUEN (K’iche, B’aatz, Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) – Day 8 of 13 Days of the trecena of 1 Seed/KAN

Altar for Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, October 31, 2018, Ruins at Ek’ Balam, in Gratitude for the Wisdom he shared from the Mayan calendars to help  gather a new tribe from around the world.

Galactic Tone 8:  Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

A GOOD DAY TO: Begin anything new in your life.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

PERSEUS: The Hero Constellation

To find the Perseus constellation, you can look for it below the left or right side of the “W” or “M” formed by the constellation Cassiopeia.

  1. Locate Cassiopeia, which is one of the most visible constellations in the sky.
  2. Look for the “W” or “M” shape formed by Cassiopeia.
  3. If Cassiopeia is a “W”, look for Perseus below the left side of the “W”.
  4. If Cassiopeia is an “M”, look for Perseus below the right side of the “M”.
  5. Follow an imaginary line from the middle star of Cassiopeia to the star that forms the bottom or top of the shallower “V”.
  6. Continue the line to find Perseus.
  7. You can also use a star chart to find the constellation’s location. (See TheSkyLive.com)

Perseus is one of the largest constellations in the night sky, named after the hero in Greek mythology who saved Andromeda from the sea monster Cetus.
