Great Unwindings on the Sun
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 07/02/2025
THE GREAT UNWINDING: In June, the sun bristled with an unusual number of prominences. This one, photographed by Michael Jaeger of Austria, captures an important way things explode on the sun. Witness, the Great Unwinding:
Prominences are clouds of hydrogen held above the surface of the sun by magnetic fields. Strange but true: Magnetic fields are a lot like rubber bands. When you twist them, the tension builds up, and when they suddenly unwind … snap! The energy release can be significant.
The coiled tension in this prominence was created by plasma currents beneath the surface of the sun, which pulled and twisted its magnetic underpinnings. More energy than a million World War II atomic bombs was released when the structure unwound.
July is shaping up to be a good month for prominences, too.

WAITING FOR THE CME: A CME is expected to strike Earth during the late hours of July 1st has not yet arrived. Its delayed impact on July 2nd could spark G1-class geomagnetic storms with high-latitude auroras.
Mayan Calendar Time
4 Wisdom/CIB holds an intention of stability through an intention of releasing worldly attachments through Forgiveness. The Reed/BEN trecena holds an intention to connect a channel of Spiritual Communion. Two channels of Light Above shine down on 2 prayer mats below the altar. The Intention is connecting 2 as 1 in Divine Trinity. The Sun is releasing energy on the scale of more than a million WWII atomic bombs. We’re still waiting on an incoming CME that was expected yesterday.
CIB releases us from the past history that has served its purpose and doesn’t need to be repeated anymore. CIB relates to the Wisdom of Humanity as a whole, and a Time to honor the sum of all wisdom inherited, beginning from the first generation.
The symbol 4 of stability is magnified by CIB’s position 16, as 4 x 4.

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.
A GOOD DAY TO: Sit on a Rock
Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes. Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative. Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
