4 Wisdom / CIB
Greetings Beloved Kin,
CIB is the symbol of the mystic ferryman that holds a torch aloft to carry us to the other side. CIB’s totem Owl holds the vision of the Eagle, with the means to see through the darkness of the unknown, and to see “what’s behind.”
CIB is a Time to honor the Wisdom of the Ages. The glyph illustrates the Mind in its highest state of Illumination. History repeats itself. Beyond the Wisdom of our own experience is the Truth of the Times before. We’re inclined to share what we’ve learned with a new generation. The new generation is inclined to think it only applies to the “old days.” There is wisdom in every experience that’s learned the hard way. The Truth stands forever. We only need to apply it to a new Time and Place.
The One Truth we can always know for sure. We don’t know everything. Truth Evolves over Time by the Sum of the Whole Change that’s taken place since the “First Light” of knowing. The Wisdom of the Old and the New is a measure of “what it means” tomorrow.
CIB turns our thoughts to the archeological treasure of the Past. The Unknown Future in the Past is perfectly clear as the Hindsight of Today. How would you live yesterday, if you knew what you know today? If we can’t change the Past, then the Truth we know Today must be good enough by Divine Design to change tomorrow.
