Astronomers didn’t know what to expect after 3I/ATLAS reappeared from its close-encounter with the Sun. Now they have “something unusual to report.”

COMET 3I/ATLAS HAS SPROUTED AN UNUSUAL TAIL: After passing behind the sun in October, interstellar Comet 3I/ATLAS is now visible from Earth again. Astronomers are photographing it in the pre-dawn sky.
Michael Jaeger of Austria has been tracking the comet since it re-appeared on Nov. 4th. “We have something unusual to report,” he says. “3I/ATLAS showed a complex tail structure early this morning (Nov. 8th).”
“At the time of exposure, the comet was 7-10° above the horizon,” he says. “At the end, twilight interfered with the observation, which took place under bright moonlight. We observed from a mountain location.”
This image differs from other photos we’ve seen in recent days, which show a simple fuzzy blob with no obvious tail. Jaeger’s exposure detected a spray of four or five tails, including a narrow jet pointing toward the sun. This might indicate a surge of activity stimulated by ATLAS’s encounter with the hot sun.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.
