The First, Second and Third Disappearance of Venus

Venus Disappears in March, November, and January

Venus will disappear twice in 2025: once in March as it transitions from the evening to the morning sky and again in late November as it moves behind the Sun. Venus disappears a 3rd Time for 50 Days in January 2026.

First disappearance: March 2025

  • Inferior conjunction: Venus will pass between the Earth and the Sun on March 22, an event called inferior conjunction. For inexperienced observers, Venus will appear to disappear into the sun’s glare after March 8.
  • Transition period: At the start of March, Venus will be a bright “evening star,” but it will rapidly appear lower and lower in the western sky each night.
  • Re-emergence: It will reappear later in the same month, around March 26, as a “morning star” in the eastern sky before sunrise.

Second disappearance: November 2025

  • Into the twilight: During November, Venus will progressively fade into the morning twilight.
  • Superior conjunction: Venus is heading toward a superior conjunction, where it passes behind the Sun from our perspective. This will take place in early 2026.
  • Out of view: By the end of November 2025, it will be very difficult to spot or will have completely disappeared from the morning sky.

Third disappearance: January 2026

The 3rd Disappearance will occur January 6, when it will disappear for 50 days or actually longer. The ancient Mayans calculated that around superior conjunction Venus would disappear for about 50 days. We at a higher latitude would see a longer disappearance, losing it until sometime in late February or early March. (Source: Bob Moler’s Ephemeris Blog, November 20, 2025)

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.

A GOOD DAY TO:  Ask for Abundance in all relations.

Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
