I’ve found most of my sorrows are tied to the ways others have disappointed me. I can’t be disappointed unless I have expectations. Our full surrender to Divine Will includes letting go of flimsy rules about how our needs must be met. Surrendered to Divine Will our needs can be fulfilled for the highest good of all.

Tone 10 asks us to acknowledge what we have manifested or transformed through the cycle of this trecena. Dog/OC guides us to make our assessment through the eyes of unconditional love.

The IMIX trecena has initiated our new beginning with a journey of self-discovery. I expect I’m only beginning to find the limits I’ve set for myself, based on precepts as flimsy as tissue paper. Our greatest obstacles are self-imposed. Where do we get the idea that manifesting our dreams has to be so hard?

Tone 9 calls for our patience and persevere so we can see the bigger picture. As children, we imagine our dreams without any thought of failure. Somewhere we stopped believing in ourselves. Our limitations weren’t hard to find, though discovering the underlying motives requires us to open our hearts.

I’m suddenly realizing that manifesting my dreams is as hard as I make it. For one, I was convinced this journal could only be written at 3:00 AM.  I was wondering how long I could keep it up. Stuck in my self-imposed timeframe I was too preoccupied to look for the solution.

Paying attention to my thinking may be the best innovation since sliced bread. I’ve learned that when something seems too hard, there’s probably a better way. That seems too ridiculously simple to be genius, but having slept in…  it feels like a landslide-breakthrough.

The 13-day trecena of Crocodile/IMIX is a cycle of energy helping us to tap into our creative genius. IMIX initiates us into a new way of thinking with ideas that may seem to come out of left field. The purpose is to shake us out of our established thought patterns.

One of my realizations has been about a faulty assumption… I was making decisions based on a theory I never thought through. It took a wild idea to catch my attention to even think about it. To be capable of genius and innovation we have to pay attention to our thinking.

Considering the magic held in every seed brought me to a greater appreciation for how we have been created. Our ability to create another human being with a unique body, personality, and spirit is magic so big I can’t help but underestimate its wonder. I question if ANY dream we hope for requires even a fraction of that much magic?

We can know we are made of magic, though it isn’t  our own Truth until we experience it in our hearts.

This feels like a time for embracing the unknown and making the most of the wild-idea excitement that the IMIX trecena is offering us. The calendar is in synchronistic alignment with the Aquarius New Moon on February 8, 2016, which is forecast as a time for visionary thinking. new beginnings, and seeing the world from a whole new perspective. All the forces of nature seem to be propelling us into something brand new.

I’ve decided to ride the current  of creativity just to see where it might lead me while continuing to pray for my ongoing sanity. 🙂 I feel like if I defined a specific creation right now, I’d also be defining the limits of what it could be. As long as I’m having fun, I’m going to consider this the trecena of R & D.
