12 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Vision Quest: Day 12

THE TRECENA OF JAGUAR/IX – WALKING IN BALANCE

12 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

“Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. Serpent lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.” – Cherokee calendar

Seed/KAN was the Spark of Divine Power as the Consciousness of Knowing. KAN symbolizes the Force of the Dragon within. Serpent/CHICCHAN is the symbol of the Divine Source of Human’s “lightning in the blood” that the Maya call the Sixth Sense of the Heart.

Serpent/CHICCHAN resides in the East with the Element of Fire to transmute matter from one form into another. CHICCHAN is a Force Above with the Power to Call our Attention to a Divine Communion of Spirit. CHICCHAN marks the Truth of Divine Discernment through our Feelings.

The Serpent Feels its way through the vibrations of movement on Mother Earth. The Snake sees by Feeling. To Remember the Wisdom of the Truth we have to Feel it. CHICCHAN guides us to pay attention to our own gut instincts. On CHICCHAN our Spiritual Gifts are awakened like the Kundalini energy that travels up the spine to the crown of the head.

Our Spiritual Gifts were given in harmony and equity from the beginning. We are not trying to receive the supernatural gifts of Spirit. The challenge to overcome is to see what has always been working perfectly and to UNDERSTAND what it means.

Tone 12 holds the Intention of Human Understanding. This is a day when disassociated pieces and parts of our experience are all drawn together into a new and meaningful whole. 12 is a symbol of Humanity, and Serpent CHICCHAN is our connection within to a Power Above.

The Jaguar led a Vision Quest for Light of New Spiritual Wisdom. CHICCHAN holds the Force to manifest a Spiritual Experience that combines a Divine Revelation with Truth that can be Felt and Known to Human, body and soul. CHICCHAN awakens our Spiritual Senses. The Serpent will guide us to shed our skin to Feel what our Heart needs to Know.

1 Earth/CABAN – Divine Forces of Nature

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

1 Earth / CABAN

1 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

We become One with the Mother at a new beginning. Just as our Hearts are the Channel of God’s Love, so is the Heart of Earth and Heart of Heaven a Channel that we all share as the One.

1 Earth/CABAN brings us into synchronicity with the rhythm of the Heartbeat of Mother Earth. We draw inspiration from the Forces of Nature and Beauty of the Natural World.

To all my relations, Earth/CABAN offers the place of perfect balance and centeredness within the perpetual movement of the Ever Present, Now.

Ceremony Update: Eve of the Seed/KAN Trecena

Summer Ceremonies: The Doctorings

minisa-gardeningFrom “Spirit Talk – a Book of Days” by Minisa Crumbo Halsey

Since many, or most, of us do not live in close proximity to adepts and holy people that can and do facilitate community ceremonies, that appropriate action is, in the end, essentially personal. So what matters is bringing the fullness of our minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits forward to say yes once more to life. Herein and from this point on, we are offered the opportunity for which we were born, that of recognizing ourselves as our own holy people. Aho!

Take up the staff of authority and don the mantle of leadership, and if you will, emerge and embark upon finding, forging, and designing a Way that is unique to your personal attributes and needs. These are the new Ways coming forward for the new days . . . and we are the ones. Since each of us initially think principally upon ourselves, as it should be, let us now think even more and deeply upon ourselves and the personal links to what we can identify as the proven and worthy gifts of life, the Sacred and all of its auspices. This is a deeply personal and sacred moment to be held close, in silence and privately, for some time to mature and seat in the deepest, innermost recesses of your sacredness. Take time for the building of this precious personal medicine, our personal medicine treasure—that of which we know and that of which we are—together and in a spirit of oneness with the mind of the Creator, in concert with these first, most beautiful and enduring gifts to and for us from the Creator: our Mother the Earth, our Father the Sky-Sun, our Grandmother the Moon, our relations: the Star People, the Directions, the Elementals, the Spirit Helpers, the colors, the Wind Beings, the Fire Beings, the Green Beings, the Water Beings, the Stone People, and all of the other named and unnamed sacred related beings that live upon and within this beautiful Creation.

The old people say, “That which you recognize, you own.”

They also say, “It’s not so much, will you do it, but whether you will remember to do it.”

9 Jaguar/IX – Journey of Transformation

MAYAN CALENDAR
DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Jaguar/IX

9 Jaguar/IX

Greetings Kin,

There is something more to learn from a new understanding. The CIMI trecena empowers our transformation through an application of Unconditional Love. We are just beginning  to see the ways we are all empowered by the kindness we show one another.

The suffering in the world is closer than we realize. The change and uncertainty of these times impacts our family members, friends, neighbors, fellow grocery store shoppers and cashiers. Jaguar/IX demonstrates the power of our supernatural support.

13 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Divine Correspondence

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” – Lao Tzu

13 Serpent/CHICCHAN

13 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

On Galactic Tone 13 we arrive at a new vista. From the new perspective of our ascension Serpent/CHICCHAN ignites us by revealing the success of our latest efforts.

In the day-to-day our changes may seem like minor adjustments, though the consistency of our incremental movements forward has far more impact on the road to our destiny than any occasional monumental effort.

Like watching children grow, the closer one is to the action the more difficult it is to see the changes as they are happening. We place significance on our milestones because they reveal the evidence of transformation. 13 Serpent/CHICCHAN marks such a milestone.

2 Crocodile/IMIX – A Walk with Light

Greetings Kin,

2 imix

2 Crocodile/IMIX

Crocodile/IMIX brings us to the dawn of a new awakening. IMIX holds the memories of all creation and speaks to us in mysterious ways. IMIX is the Day Sign that brings ideas out of the blue and in no particular order.

Tone 2 calls for some measure of analysis. We’re given the ability to clearly see both sides and make a true assessment of the differences. Continue reading

6 Road/EB – Spirit Walk

Greetings Kin,

6 Road/EB

6 Road/EB

Tone 6 is the arrival of peak energy of the Deer/MANIK Spirit Walk. We are guided by Road/EB, also referred to as Human, representing the road to our destiny.

The Eb glyph illustrates a Human head, and in the upper right corner, the road of life with guide stones on either side. The Road/EB glyph literally places the road of our destiny on our own head. The guide stones show a good orderly direction with the next destination marked directly ahead. Interestingly, the road leads inward.

THE TRECENA OF DEER/MANIK – SPIRIT WALK

6 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.

Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer.  Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.

Spirit Walk: Day 6 – Peak Trecena Energy

The peak energy of Tone 6 lays the groundwork for new understanding about how we influence our own destiny. Led by the master of all Spirit Tools, the Deer/MANIK trecena is teaching us about our role as co-creators and Spirit Tools for God.

I’ve felt more like a lost crusader… like I should be pushing some directive to save mankind, but without any clear sense of direction. What I see as my own course correction is relying on the basics of letting go, and letting God.

Monkey/CHUEN offered two important Truths to empower us and broaden our perspective. First, we must believe in the magic of our intentions. By “magic” I mean the supernatural forces beyond our understanding. And secondly, to manifest our Dream we have to stay on course. The Monkey is great at innovation, but the challenge for Monkey is losing interest and moving on to the next thing.

God doesn’t expect us to blaze blindly forward. We have to have faith that we will be given Divine Direction. Making ourselves present and accountable to Divine Will is our primary responsibility. We need faith in our ability to hear direction when it is given. That means we have to spend time listening.

With our Faith and presence, we are also better able to hear God when the answer is “wait.” We don’t have to abandon a dream because we don’t see it materializing on Our schedule. When we give up, we withdraw a vital force of energy from what we could create.

If we seek God and Divine Will, our prayers ARE being answered.

The Cherokee Day Sign of the Rattlesnake Tooth, describes a rainbow of electromagnetic energy from the Sun. This is the ray of Light our Creator will send to us when there is action for us to take or a correction of course is needed.

To all my relations – may we remember that God can and will make it absolutely clear to us what we need to do next. All we have to do is stay on course and be grounded in the knowledge of God’s unconditional Love.

1 Deer/MANIK – Spirit Walk

Greetings Kin,

1 Deer/MANIK

1 Deer/MANIK

We arrive at 1 Deer/MANIK from a personal pilgrimage of Spirit through the trecena of Jaguar/IX. Deer/MANIK brings the energy to transform our  higher consciousness into real-life applications we carry into the world.

We can employ our Spirit Tools of being vigilant and looking for the deeper meaning, to discover more Spirit Tools that will be just as meaningful.

Deer/MANIK is the sign of the Mayan Priest. Guided by Manik, We will be fired and proven as worthy Spirit Tools to be used by God’s hand.

12 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Vision Quest: Day 12

Greetings Kin,

12 chicchan.jpg

12 Serpent/CHICCHAN

A Vision Quest is meant for us to set the world aside for a time to immerse ourselves in the world of pure Spirit. Taking time to ourselves from the cares of the world we are able to see ourselves through God’s eyes. We can see the True value of who we are, beyond any evaluation or standards of conformity that the world might impose.

At the conclusion of any sacred ceremony is that bridge we must cross that leads back into our real-world environment. How can we hold on to the new ground we have gained when we have to face the real people and situations in our lives?

I do feel elevated to a higher state of consciousness, but what I thought would feel like a supernatural experience, feels more like just paying attention.

I was the target of road rage on 10 Akbal (Manifestation) and was surprised at my knee-jerk response. I added unnecessary misery to the world by not just ignoring it. People are struggling. WE have to be the Light.  The small ways are the most important.

7 Deer/MANIK – Vigilance & Reflection

Greetings Kin,

7 Deer/MANIK

7 Deer/MANIK

The 13-day trecena of Crocodile/IMIX is a cycle of energy helping us to tap into our creative genius. IMIX initiates us into a new way of thinking with ideas that may seem to come out of left field. The purpose is to shake us out of our established thought patterns.

One of my realizations has been about a faulty assumption… I was making decisions based on a theory I never thought through. It took a wild idea to catch my attention to even think about it. To be capable of genius and innovation we have to pay attention to our thinking.
