THE TRECENA OF DOG/OC
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Peak Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the trecena, the number that reflects Abundance and Infinity. 8 is the Number of “pure spirit.” Tone 8 begins the Transformation Phase of the trecena that’s guided by Divine Agency. On the descent of the pyramid, there is a shift to a new Force of Energy. It’s compared to a descent, an Unseen Force that draws us to Higher Ground. Equity is the Balance, and Truth that is Fair.
Tone 8 is the Sacred Exchange for the Offering that was our Human climb. We are at One in Spirit and everything that is Life is the Spirit. Our Consciousness holds the history of who we are. Humans never feel their “age” in the Consciousness of Identity. We change, but the One that was changed is always the Same One. We are living to experience. We aren’t robots. We’re just living inside one, that makes choices to survive.
From the One Divine Consciousness we can see the Beauty of the Design. We were given Consciousness to experience Life. Who’s Life would we choose? The Heart of Earth and Heart of Sky intended us to be. The Consciousness of Humanity is the Scion.
Earth/CABAN is Mother Earth and the symbol of Movement. The Maya See and Acknowledge the Earth as the Source of all Knowledge and Wisdom, accomplished by Movement and Time. The Ollin symbol at the center of the Aztec calendar is their Day Sign that simply means Movement. Movement is a sign of a Life. It has a story that is everything it has ever been, and could be. The Maya call it N’oj, Awareness of Identity.
Within the glyph are symbols for a straight line (human reason), a wavy line (human imagination), and rising circles of thought (Divine Inspiration). Our thoughts are Whole when we use the 3 together.
THE HOLY DAY: DAY OF AWARENESS AND CONSCIOUSNESS
8 Earth/CABAN is a Holy Day of Observance for a celebration of Knowing We ARE. We can SEE our Whole Self. 8 CABAN is a personal observance. The Heart of Earth, the Human Consciousness, is opened to the Truth about Life.
CABAN lies in the East holding the Element of Fire. Fire holds the power of transmutation. CABAN guides us to Light the Candles at the Altar and Bring and Offering to Mother Earth.
