8 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 8 holds the Intention of the Justice of Harmony and Equity. The Maya count 12 hours of daylight, associated with the Tone numbers. Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the trecena, representing the Sun in its zenith, the Brightest Light of Illumination.

On Tone 7 the effort of our Spiritual Climb was measured for the Balancing of Above and the Below. Our measure lies in the Highest Intention we held in our heart.

Tone 8 is defined by the Maya as the number of “pure spirit.” A Divine Agency Knows our Heart and will Intervene with Divine Justice. The Divine Justice for Faith is Believing.

Seed/KAN is exalted in Tone 8. Today begins the Transformation phase of the trecena. Seed/KAN guides a Transformation of personal Identity. A new Seed of our Self is Fired by the Creator with a Spark of Divine Consciousness. In our harvest cycle of the Tzolk’in round, our buds are beginning to appear where flowers will bloom. The buds appearing relate to our first Consciousness that we will bear the Fruit of Spirit, holding the Seed of our Creation.

8 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the Earth/CABAN trecena. Tone 8 holds the Creator’s Highest Intention of Divine Justice.

Seed/KAN embodies all the elements of creation, representing family, sexual activity and the magic of germination. Within the Seed is Human’s Divine Design, and the promise to become what we were meant to be.

Just as a seed works it’s way to the light through darkness, KAN strives to free itself from the debts or oppressive patterns of the past. It reaches to be free. The Seed is capable to draw to itself everything that’s needed to grow, gathering abundance “as if cast by a net.”

In the position of Divine Justice, Seed reflects the promise of gathering everything it needs so that its fruit will be multiplied to abundance. Our fruit is the Light of the Spirit. So are we given what is needed for a new harvest of Spirit, multiplied to abundance.

Through our Transformation, we are Seeds that create a new and stronger Seeds for the next generation. The improvements we make are marked in the cellular memories of our Spiritual DNA. On Earth Human prizes the heirloom Seeds that hold the integrity of their first state of being. In Spirit, the greater prize is the Seed we are struggling to become. The transformation to something greater is something we strive to hold onto as the inheritance we would offer to future generations.

The Seed represents a force of life within that makes our reproduction possible. Seed guides us to a profound investigation of our Self. To generate abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all the gifts and lessons that support the process of its change. Seed serves the purpose of freeing ourselves from the hidden traps and influence of others that would hold us back. We must be grateful and have the courage to face our Self to clear the obstacles that are present in our own environment. We are called to cultivate a place where we can grow.

Greetings Kin,

On Tone 8 we arrive at the Holy Day of the Earth/CABAN trecena. CABAN guides a journey that would reveal Earth as an Outer Reflection of the Gifts of the Creator we share. On the Tone 8 that returns Divine Justice, our awareness is drawn to the Miracle held within each Seed.

How easily we overlook the Miracle of a Seed. We take for granted that something so small has such potential for Growth and Expansion. Without any intervention on our part, Seed holds the Power to Become, wherever it finds the right conditions and a Connection with the Earth.

Seed/KAN reminds us of a Divine Plan that is born of a Union with Mother Earth. Each Seed, some so small they are hardly seen, holds its own Divine Force that would define what it would Be. Though a Seed offers no representation of the thing it would become, we plant it Knowing its Power to fulfill its Divine Destiny. No Faith is even necessary to believe in a Miracle we see every day.

On the Tone 8 of Divine Justice, the Earth/CABAN trecena reminds us that we are Seeds too. We hold the same Force of Nature, and inherent to our Design, is the Plan for our Divine Becoming.

Greetings Kin,

We are brought to a Holy Recognition of our connection to the Earth. We brought the new Truth of the Seed/KAN trecena about God’s intentions that we would be Divine Reflections of Light. Now the Seed of our Spirit takes root through a maternal imprinting with our Mother, Earth. The Earth and the Whole of the Natural World is our Direct Connection to our Sacred Source. The deeper our roots are established, the brighter our illumination – a Truth of Nature proven by the science of bioluminescence.
