I-Ching: Blessing of the 7 Dragons

Greetings Kin – The I-Ching is another “spiritual guidance system” that reflects correspondence and synchronicity with the Tzolk’in calendar cycles. I’m sharing an excerpt of Bobby Klein’s weekly I-Ching forecast for the week of October 22, 2018.

The symbol of the 7 Dragons is a powerful energy, and Bobby offers some very encouraging guidance and wisdom on meeting the challenge to manifest these Blessings. The complete forecast is found on Bobby Klein’s website.

The strength and force of Dragons
Inspiration in its primal presence
Portends Great Success

Joyous spirit helpers have delivered you to the gates of change in the form of this Kua. It is a message from Heaven. Rumblings of discontent and a troubled mind are leaving making way for a new cycle of individuation and the creative completion of new ideas that have been in formation. Now is the opportunity to make real the you have wished to be and to create a strong and good pathway that is imbued with virtue and integrity. This is your time to pass through the gates where you have the opportunity to shift into great creativity with passion and inspiration. You are offered the strength of 7 flying dragons. Their wings are your vehicle. Drawing this Kua is good fortune. Confucius said that to be blessed by this force is a blessing indeed, it is of great strength with a clarity of primal knowing . Persistence is necessary as you begin this new and fresh cycle of manifestation and transformation.

GLOBAL BURNER: Sacred Fire Ceremonies

The Element of Fire

Fire holds the power of transmutation, able to change the form and structure of other Elements. Honoring Fire as a Sacred Element through which we can purify and release those things that no longer serve. On the traditional Medicine Wheel path we bring our prayers of tobacco to send up the smoke of our prayers. We offer blessings to honor and feed it. Traditional gifts are chocolate or raw liver. What we bring to the fire is released into the Hands of the Creator. We feed the Fires of Creation.

There are many traditional ways of Sacred Fire Ceremony. The Maya and Native American tradition lay a circle of cornmeal and mark the 4 directions with the cross made of tobacco. The Mayan incorporate candles, sugar, flowers, and consecrate the Earth with tequila. Prayers are offered to the 4 directions, for the Inspiration of the East, the Relationships of the South, the Unknown Journey of the West, and the Wisdom of the North.

As an offering for the Global Burner day, the Fire Ceremony page offers a way to observe a sacred fire ceremony indoors.

New Year Celebration, Highlands of Guatemala

Greetings Kin,

A Mayan Daykeeper who lives in a village near Lake Atitlan, shared a photo from the New Year’s Celebration on WAXAJQIB B’AATZ (8 Monkey/CHUEN). Jen has become “family” connected through the journal. She’s a touchstone to a way of life, and shares insight on the K’iche traditions. She spent the day in the highlands for the celebration in Momostenango. ~Debra

The Circle: A Spiritual Tool

The Circle: Heart of the Seed
Flint/Etznab Cycle of Creation

Greetings Kin,

APRIL 6, 2019 – In the last round, we awaited the appearance of the Light of a Black Hole. “Humanity is days away from its first-ever photograph of a black hole, a Cosmic Cauldron of Creation. The image illustrated by the University of Arizona is what they expect to see.”

The Core Days are powerful days of Human incarnation, defined by Choices we Consciously make for our Self, and the Divine Truth on which we stand. Our Future will be Discerned the Dreams we hold in Faith. We create our own Reality.

The 7th Uinal holds the Integrity of the Great Law of Creation, “As Above, So Below.” It means that whatever is created in one realm of Being, will be balanced in all other realms. This is the Creator’s own Gift, shared with Human. This is the Provision that makes it Possible for Human to create in our imagination.

We can Create inside the realm of our own Circle. We can color it, embellish it however we want to our little realm of Creation. (Sharing an example to the right from another round. Starting with 2 Divine Truths and a couple of dreams, I did manifest a dream or two. I’ve become a housekeeper, and I am moving again.)

This year I may put a big “X” in the circle as God’s Divine Will, and paint it as a circle of colors. It’s the soup for your own creation.

The Power of it is that when thoughts come drifting by, you’ll see clearly if it came from within or without of this Circle. You will remember before someone pulls you into their circle – and what they may believe about you. It doesn’t matter when you have your own circle. You can remember the world where you belong.

HAPPY CREATING.

Our Aural History | Laura Grace Weldon

Greetings Kin, Laura Grace Weldon’s post shares wonderful insight on our relationship to Sound and Vibration from a scientific perspective, and personal experience. She reminded me of the Silence of Deer, and remembering the sounds we heard from the womb.

Thank you Laura Grace!

Eve of the Eagle/MEN Trecena: Ceremony of Initiation

Initiating Ourselves into the Eagle/MEN Trecena

Sacred Ritual allows us to create a physical representation of something in Spirit. Through ritual we are able to establish a relationship with Spirit that can be experienced in the physical world.

My first offering for the new Ceremonial Arts page is a Ceremony of Initiation. The Ritual offers a traditional way to initiate ourselves into a new beginning. This is ritual that can be used at the beginning of each trecena, or at the beginning of every new day.

Visit the Ceremonial Arts Page
Details of the Ceremony are offered on the Ceremonial Arts page, linked on the Main Menu under Medicine Path.

Observing the 4 Days Preceding the Mayan New Year

THE FIRST OF FOUR DAYS PROCEEDING THE MAYAN NEW YEAR OBSERVANCES

A Message from Minisa Crumbo Halsey on preparations and Sacred Ceremony in observance of the New Year on 8 Monkey/CHUEN (July 4, 2016)

5 Lamat

I visited the Longhouse this morning after last night’s FIVE PERSON grief release and celebration of life ceremony that life might go on ‘in a good way’.

The tea lights were STILL glimmering.
I removed the directional lava and rose quartz stone beings from the fire ring to the side.
Any charred wood ends were removed.
Small, long-handled, old broom swept ash from the center, up and over the sides of previous ash ring rakings.

A WHITE center and bottom of the fire pit revealed itself..the other side revealed it’s face and UNIFIED WITH THE OUR CONSCIOUS WORLD… THE FIRE RING CENTER.

The directional stone beings and rose quartz beings were returned to the fire ring perimeter.
The small, old broom then swept out, completely, ALL, of our previous track…in the entire Longhouse..to the door… creating a RE-NEWED field whereby the new tracks and paths will be laid down on a clear, purified and unified ground…in a sacred manner we walk.

We will walk there four days in ceremony..this 5 Lamat, being the first of the four days of the Mayan New Year observances.

Fires are being built and prayers offered wherever DayKeepers and sweetgrass swingers live, sing, breath and dance.

Dream and make personal and collective ceremonies of Unified Intent according to dream and vision drawn from your life and offer it to Life.

In the Spirit of Art, Beauty and Love…forever

Ceremony Update: Eve of the Monkey/CHUEN Trecena

The Birds and Bees of Summer

A Message for the Trecena of Monkey/CHUEN
by Minisa Crumbo Halsey

Let us place some time and attention apart in order to move into and more deeply with the divine and eternal concepts of balance and harmony. Love and the red gifts of the heart are flowering, even fruiting and seeding with those of us who reside in the northern hemi-shell of our beautiful Mother Earth which is in turn, shone down upon and energized by our beloved Father Sky Sun.

8 Road/EB – Spiritual Quickening

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

8 Road/EB

8 Road/EB

Greetings Kin,

Galactic Tone 8 brings an intention of justice through balance and harmony. Road/EB calls our attention to the road of our Destiny.

Though we may live in a world of inequity, we are shown that a Higher Power is capable to balance the scales.

8 Road/EB is a Holy Day celebrated by the Quiche Maya as the Day of Destiny, Sac be/the White Way, referring to the Milky Way. Tone 8 is described as the number of pure Spirit. This is a turning point of momentum in our Spiritual Quickening.

This is a peak day in the cycle and the 7th of 10 Green Kins in progression that opens a portal to Spirit and the potential for a shift in perception.

6 Dog/OC – Spiritual Quickening

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Dog/OC

6 Dog/OC

Greetings Kin,

Tone 6 helps us to fall into step with the movement of this trecena as we enter the peak energies of this 13-day cycle. Like stepping onto an escalator, this is the point where we adjust to a new flow. Dog/OC reminds us to take life as it comes. We’re guided to keep our focus on the next opportunity, instead of looking back.

We have been moving through an intense cycle of personal transformation. Today could bring some sense of personal relief as Tone 6 eases us into the flow of the process of our own changes. Dog brings the comfort of companionship, support, and unconditional love through an open portal of Spirit.

This is the 5th of 10 Green Kins in progression that introduces a portal to Spirit and a potential shift in perception.
