Minisa Crumbo Halsey, 1 Wind/IK

Minisa Crumbo, Dawnwoman, shares her Breath of Spirit in her book Spirit Talk: a count of days that was the encouragement to write a journal. Minisa holds the Inheritance of Marcellus “Bear Heart” Williams, the Uncle who raised her up on the traditional path of the shaman. The rich accounting of the way he was taught is written in “The Wind is my Mother.” Minisa also draws on the Wisdom of the Sacred Pottawatomie tradition of her heritage, holding the Wisdom of the Sacred words of the Pottawatomie passed to her from Donald Perrot, Member and Elder of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. 10 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Galactic Tone 10 relates to Manifestation, the materialization of substance, expression, beauty, and potential. Manifestation is the Great Blessing of Creation. Our Creation becomes Real when we can See and Acknowledge that it is So. The Substance of our Creation is Manifest from the Truth we Claim for our Self.

Within each one of us, we hold the Unlimited Potential of Being. We see this Light in the newborn, as we imagine everything it could grow up to Be. Within this newborn, is there a great athlete? A world leader? A world-renowned composer?

At what age does this potential cease to be? When did we stop believing that this potential still applies to us?

Monkey/CHUEN is the Sign of a Creator. Residing in the Center of the Tzolk’in, the Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN hold an affinity as the two most central characteristics of the All-in-One… a Divine Creator of Unconditional Love and Beauty. The Dog and the Monkey reflect the aspects of Humanity that set us apart from all other living Creations, the Consciousness of Discernment and Creators unbound by the Dimensions of Time and Space. Only Human holds the Power to Create in the Past, Present, and Future.

The 13 Moon Dreamer Journey to Bring Forward the New Dawn of Spring

by Minisa Crumbo Halsey, 1 Wind/IK

The 13 Moon Dreamer Journey to Bring Forward the New Dawn of Spring … and to welcome a spiritual Mayan calendar community led by Debra Malmos, as our circles radiate in love and light for our beautiful and sacred beingness … AHO!

Dear Jaguar Woman and the larger Circle(s) of the Bodewadmin Longhouse,
Bozho, my relations:

Altar construction is SO valuable a teaching to initiate and incorporate into the personal but essentially, collective main stream intuitive consciousness pool. Kiche Migwech … that we begin this mailing with reading and the context of this companion Mayan Calendar, daily inspirational teaching – Go to: jaguarspirit.com, by Debra Malmos, a long time ceremonial member of the sacred two legged community who has done many things with us, here on the land at the Spirit Horse Ranch. She now lives and works in the NW.

You, your larger circle and the beyond Dreamers, were remembered and spoken of last evening as we gathered to conclude a 7 day quiet time, to initiate a Journey into the 13 Moons forward and construct a personal, inner Medicine Wheel altar by which to positively support ours and all life.

Winter Ceremonies

Minisa Crumbo Halsey, 1 Wind/IK

by Minisa Crumbo Halsey, Author, “Spirit Talk”

Greetings All,
The first gift of the New Year to each of us is the opportunity to bring forward the previous 21 day Winter Ceremonies and prepare to step out with them toward building personal ceremony based on personal and collective observation and experience. At this point it may not even be entirely clear what this consists of..but, trust, that the wisdom and knowledge that has been built and accrued  in recent months will coalesce and reveal itself in gentle increments as we seek to remember and ‘remember to remember’.

Autumn 2016: Part 3

by Minisa Crumbo Halsey

Here we depart from the known and embark on forging medicine relationships with the essential healing qualities of the plant beings directly. So much information of loving substance and value has been lost to us, forgotten, hidden from us, punished, co-opted or discredited and yet many alternative restorative and healing continue to reveal themselves as ‘new’ or surface in the grass roots research labs of suffering and need, our own and that of others. Courage must be summoned to think deeply about want and need. Talking, reading, observing the good old ways of establishing honest relationships with every aspect of a condition and then stepping out with new eyes, trusting, testing and flexing the new muscle of intuition first on small conditions and then the larger and then the largest.

Ceremony Update, Dawn Woman’s Blog

The Ceremony of Picking and Gathering ‘IN A GOOD WAY’

 by Minisa Crumbo Halsey
Dawn Woman’s Blog,Thursday, October 6, 2016

Picking and gathering have long been among humankind’s primary tools for providing food. The basic nature of the sacred give-away and receive principle is the model for our approach to the plant people, the skebyak, and the natural world.

The plant people go a long way toward offering and providing us, the two-leggeds and others, with the physical materials we need to live life ‘in a good way’. Plant fiber provides assorted fiber for the weaving of clothing, nets, mats, basketry, footwear, hammocks, housing, cordage, snares and traps. The plant people share their bodies that our own might live and medicines by which to maintain, heal, and restore health and balance.

The green beings hold all wisdom and knowledge. The Mother Earth and all beings that live upon and within her body have their own unique medicine ways and it is of these ways that we seek to learn the languages, uses and songs. Our Mother is a sentient being with an evolutionary path of her own and when sufficiently sensitized it is possible for us to feel her heartbeat through the soles of our feet and entire being.

In order for us to make orderly and honorable approaches to each living thing we must first understand ourselves for this is what we bring forward in dialogue and intent by way of introduction. The text of Spirit Talk is designed to offer and provide sensitization models, histories, identifying, arriving at and holding appropriate thought focus, charting some designs of personal ritual and time management, suggest structures of meaningful ceremony in the context of individual biology and life style, observing and creatively participating in the cyclical dynamics of the seasons, to encourage song, dance, music..these are some of the ways by which we may begin to accurately and healthily track our minds, authentically and honorably present ourselves to ourselves, actually, and then to all other beings. Seriously consider these suggestions and the practices set forward in the earlier Seasonal writings. Experiment with them for personal veracity, test them out, through your own Spirit Talk. Make requests and prayers for inspired and illuminated pathways.  Continued on Dawn Woman’s Blog

Wind/IK Trecena Message by Minisa Crumbo Halsey

The Seed Beings Relent, Release and Scatter in the Wind – Breath of 1 IK

A Message for the Wind/IK Trecena by Minisa Crumbo Halsey, 1 Wind/IK

The autumn, medicine direction, so mysterious in it’s unfolding is driven by so many things both coming and going. All things and beings are finding themselves within an active stage of transition. This transition brings us to ride the free floating, first breaths of wind, ourselves no more nor less than the bobbing milk weed seed parachuting out of a bursting pod, the ovoid snow precursing clouds visiting from the north lands, wild rice stems feeling the beaters stick knock loose seeds falling to canoe bottoms…how many are the allusions and metaphors of the season…all of them written by previous seasons and now loosening all but the most ephemeral and essential controls of discovering core identities as we pause within the great autumn cyclical count of days.

The winds breath spirits to the spirit world. Within the ongoing Evolution of all beings, including our beautiful Mother Earth, we find ourselves once again in an active act of separation from the previous known. We remember the instructions to be breathed alive and count the harvest that the Mother provides equally, irregardless of whether we sowed and planted, gather or simply observe, surrender and be.

The Power Platforms of Seasonal Certainty and Uncertainty

Balance-imbalance..the walk and dance of duality produces movement and time

The predictable power of planned, focused and goal activity can produce, seat and hold stable concepts and provide platforms for measured growths of every kind. The given and structured bedrock measuring tables of favored plan, are positioned to broaden and shift beyond their original parameters, becoming a format to measure unplanned and evolutionary changes, platforms stationed, if not prepared, to receive and absorb the unexpected shocks of any medicine journey. However, the transitional medicine journeys over seasonal thresholds hold particular piquancies of swirling, therefore uncertain merge and movement of medicines as now, one gives-away and now, one takes on past and future history, navigating the NOW center, well-greased axle hole window of the Medicine Wheel.
