9 Monkey / CHUEN
Greetings Kin,
Tone 9 carries the Intention of Patience. As plans and patterns start to form, 9 encourages us to look at the bigger picture. Tone 9 intends to complete an understanding, and warns of potential suffering if we fail to look deeper into our thoughts and inspiration. The suffering is the burden we already carry that deeper reflection can allow us to let go.
Our Vision Quest set an Intention to live in the realm of Spirit. Just as we had to learn to walk in the physical world, we’ve been learning to walk in Spirit. The Elders compare walking to “leaps of faith.” When we learned to walk as children, we first mastered the balance of standing still. We master walking when we gain the courage to fall forward.
To accomplish Spiritual Growth we must be willing to fall, to take a leap of Faith into the Unknown place between our present and our future.
CHUEN is the weaver of Time. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on the head of the Monkey. Monkey/CHUEN calls us to look more deeply to find the Beauty in our Life. Monkey reflects the Creator’s Gifts of Cognition shared with Human. We take for grated the gifts we use every day. Yet, Human is the only Creation that can acquires wisdom by reason versus instinct. It’s a Spiritual Gift that we can travel through time to revisit the past and envision the future. Our Imagination is a Gift of Spirit, and so are our Dreams.
As we seek the Truth that we are Gifted, Divine Justice will be completed by contemplating the gifts we can already identify. Divine Justice for the Creator is also served. Acknowledging our Gifts is a Sacred Exchange.
