MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The next 13 days…
Seed/KAN is the Day Sign that embodies the Sacred Forces that are held by every Human. Seed represents the dynamic energies of Human sexuality, gender, and reproduction. Seed illustrates the Spark of Divinity shared by the Creator, giving Human the Power of Creation.
Seed helps us to see that Only a Sacred Force is capable to bond the elements of Spirit and Matter. Our Consciousness is not man-made, but is shared by Divine Design. Seed/KAN guides us to a Higher Consciousness of our Oneness with the Creator and the Divinity of our Being as vessels created to hold a Spark of God.
KAN is also known as the Dragon, a symbol found in cultures throughout the world, representing the energy of potency, life force, growth, prosperity and expansion. Seed/KAN’s purpose is to effect an Ascension of Divine Wisdom (13 Wisdom/CIB), a new Transformation of Divine Consciousness. Dragon is known as a symbol of “seeing clearly.”
10-DAY PORTAL: Ether of Spirit
The Seed/KAN trecena opens a 10-day Portal, a thinning of the veil to the Dimension of Spirit. The Portal holds open our Awareness to a Divine Agency that works on our behalf. The Creator’s Highest Intention of the Justice of Harmony and Equity, will be fulfilled by Divine Intervention. The Seed/KAN trecena will help us Realize our own Potential through a gift of Co-Creation. The Portal opens on 3 Transformer/CIMI, the first day of movement in the Seed/KAN trecena. Transformer/CIMI signals a Major Life Change and an Awakening of Clairvoyance. Through the consciousness of our Divine Design, we will clearly see the Vision of our Future.
- 6 Offering/MULUC – Spiritual Growth will be accomplished through the Atonement of an Offering
- 7 Dog/OC – we will be balanced with Unconditional Love
- 8 Monkey/CHUEN – we receive the gift of Divine Justice, magnified by Tone 8 in Uinal 8
- 9 Road/EB – Spirit will broaden our perspective on our own Human Destiny
8th Uinal: 8 is the number of “pure spirit” and represents the Intention of the Justice of Harmony and Equity. This 20-day cycle offers the Peak Energy of Divine Intervention to elevate our Power through Integrity and Ethics. Justice relates to our discernment of right and wrong, and our values, principles, morals, and standards of behavior. To use our Power with integrity, our Intentions must serve the greatest good of the whole. The trecena of Seed/KAN can help us see the Miracle in every Human. Each one of us are uniquely designed by the Creator, and the whole of humanity is the first descendant of the Creator, first in line for the same Divine Inheritance. None of us were created to be more than, or less than the other. With the help of Divine Intervention the 8th uinal can elevate our Consciousness to the Truth of our Equality.
The Maya New Year: 8 Monkey/CHUEN (8 B’atz) is the High Holy Day observed by the K’iche Maya. It is a day of celebration of the Mayan calendar and the Initiation of the Mayan Daykeepers. The sacred ceremonies held on this day include a “Count of Days.” The names of each of the 260 Kin are called to Honor the Sacredness of each day and every Human.
We are offered a new beginning. 1 Seed/KAN begins a cycle of Sacred Energy that will Engage our own Divine Potential. In unity with the Creator, today is a day of Divine Inspiration. This cycle offers great potential for transformation, due to the help of Divine Agency and the Highest Intention of Justice. We are creating new karma to be balanced from the Above to the Below. This will be a “working” trecena in that we are applying what we’ve learned from Monkey/CHUEN. We can initiate our Self into a new cycle of transformation by renewing our commitment to “count each day” as sacred. We can create a world of beauty through our affirmation that “Life is Good.”
Today’s energy is suited to personal time and reflection. We are called to “be here now” in expectation of a Divine Inspiration. We might think of the ways we would celebrate each day. This a day to reset the altar for a Celebration of New Life and a Season of Miracles. Seed/KAN will help us experience the Miracle of who we are.
The “Dragon Energy” of Seed/KAN is our own Life Force connecting us to the same energetic grid aligning the Sacred Sites around the world. KAN can help us clearly see our Oneness in the whole of Human Consciousness.
Seed/KAN brings Unity to Body and Spirit. This is an important time to take care of our Whole Self. We can feed our Spirit with the Nourishment of Consciousness. We can feed the body, Blessing our food with Gratitude and Acknowledgement of all the hands of Human who brought it to our table.
To all my relations, may we make a new commitment to “be here now,” to acknowledge each day as a Sacred Event. May we take note of the Miracles of every day. May we be inspired by a new idea of a greater good we can share with the whole. May we consider our own Divine Meaning and Purpose, seeking to walk in Correspondence with our own Divine Design. May we Honor and Acknowledge the Divine Agency that walks with us offering the service of Divine Intervention.

21 DAYS of CEREMONY: Day 14
Observing 21 days of Personal Sacred Ceremony is a traditional preparation for the K’iche Maya New Year, 8 B’atz (8 Monkey/CHUEN). The New Year is a celebration of Time, and the day of Initiation for the new Mayan Daykeepers. We are preparing for an initiation into a new way of being. We can employ the Magic of the Jaguar by observing these 21 Days in Gratitude.
I’m grateful for a new beginning and another chance to be transformed into a Creator of Beauty. I’m grateful for a calendar that helps us draw deeper meaning from our everyday experiences. I’m grateful that the Creator sees me as Divine and Equal to every other. I give thanks to the Ascended Masters who shared the inheritance of their wisdom.
TRECENA OF SEED/KAN
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide for daily aspects and events of the Seed/KAN trecena.
1 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. In China ley lines are called “dragon lines”; orgone energy, pyramid power, or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
