The Elders say, “It’s never about whether you can. But, Will you Remember?
Greetings Beloved Kin,

10 Deer/MANIK
The Only way to remember the Promise of a Divine Creator to lead us to the Highest Ends of Love is to dedicate our Life to a path that leads to an altar. Kneeling in humility in Faith of what the Creator can do is the only way to Remember.
Deer/MANIK is also known as Hand. As the Destiny Kin of the Mayan priest, MANIK represents the Hand below that carries out the Mission of Love for the Hand Above.
The glyph illustrates Human’s Hand that grasps a thread of ether, the Light of Truth that completes a circuit of Divine Power. The circle on the Hand represents the Vigilant Eye of the Deer.
Tone 10 raises the Intention of Manifestation. 10 Deer/MANIK presents the Time to claim the Truth of a Divine Hand that will never let us go.

A Hand Above and a Hand Below
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
The Mayan priest was not a preacher, but one that counted the days and carried out the Sacred Ceremonies as they were ordered by Time on behalf of the whole. The Sacred Exchange for every Offering of Faith is Atonement. Through an offering of Faith that is diligent to Remember a Divine Promise, our heart will always know our way to Holy Ground.
Our Humility and Love for the Light of all Creation bears the Truth that we are living for the Highest Purpose of Love. In Hebrews, Jesus is referred to as the “faithful high priest,” the greatest of all high priests. Unlike all the others, he was tempted in every way, just as we are, and did not sin. He claimed the eternal light for our Spirit, through a prayer for forgiveness on behalf of the whole.
We are guided by Flint/ETZNAB to a sacrifice of the heart that is the Death of our Ego. When our eyes are trained on the Truth of Answered Prayers, all our shame can be swept away so we can approach an altar in confidence that we will know Grace and Mercy in every hour of need. In Humility we claim an offering we could never earn by all our Human limitations, and the Miracle of Unconditional Love that will always be, even when we fall short of our Highest Ways.
The Deer can bear the sorrow of our Human reflection. The arrows of the world’s darkness that are aimed at our heart may sting, though through the offering of Humility they can pass right through. The Deer is a symbol of stability in the legs to plant in each of the 4 directions. Holding position 7, the Deer’s gift of Vigilance is the power to claim all that is a worldly illusion, and all that is not the Truth of the Highest Order.
May we claim the Truth of Love that never fails, to overcome every illusion and lie imposed by a presence of darkness in the world below. Darkness never leads to the Light. Love is the only Light that leads the way to Holy Ground.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to others.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
