The 5th Week of Lent

9 Dog/OC falls in synchronicity with the way of the Cross that leads to our Salvation. The Truth revealed to the church through scripture follows a Divine Order that leads to the Highest End by a liturgical calendar. Tone 9 is the order of Time that is necessary to complete the creation of Love.

9 Dog/OC holds the Intention of Patience to see the Big Picture. Tone 9’s lesson is that there is great suffering to bear when we fail to take this step for lack of Insight. The 9th hour is the most important step we take every Day, looking to see the Truth of our Creation.

 

The scripture associated with the 5th Week of Lent is a story of Moses, leading his people through the wilderness.

Numbers 21:4-9 

From Mount Hor the children of Israel set out on the Red Sea road,
to bypass the land of Edom.
But with their patience worn out by the journey,
the people complained against God and Moses,
“Why have you brought us up from Egypt to die in this desert,
where there is no food or water?
We are disgusted with this wretched food!”

In punishment the LORD sent among the people saraph serpents,
which bit the people so that many of them died.
Then the people came to Moses and said,
“We have sinned in complaining against the LORD and you.
Pray the LORD to take the serpents away from us.”
So Moses prayed for the people, and the LORD said to Moses,
“Make a saraph and mount it on a pole,
and whoever looks at it after being bitten will live.”
Moses accordingly made a bronze serpent and mounted it on a pole,
and whenever anyone who had been bitten by a serpent
looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

The Serpent represents Human’s original sin. We were given the Garden of Mother Earth that produced everything we needed to live. Humans are tempted to “want more than enough.” The 1st Commandment is to Honor the Creator by acknowledging God’s Divine Provision. We have to be convicted of our Sin to comprehend the “breadth, and length, and depth, and height” – the Big Picture of Christ’s love.

We have to be convicted of a crime to be set free of it. We have to clearly see our sin to realize the measure of God’s Grace. When we do, the Creation of Love is “finished.”

To clearly see the Truth of Love, we have to make the sacrifice of looking at the Truth we don’t want to see. We deny the Truth that leads to Understanding.

Understanding is the Higher Intention of the 12th uinal, which precedes the 13th uinal of an Ascension. Sin continues to inflict pain and suffering until we bring the Truth to Light. We bear the full weight of our karma until we are Forgiven. We can’t be forgiven for sins we refuse to acknowledge as the Truth.

By Human limitation, we’ll never be perfect. We need to look every day to open our Heart to receive the Truth that sets us free. Tone 9 is Human’s whole investment of the Heart and the Sacrifice we make for Love.

The evil in the world tells us we have no right to Love unless we’re perfect by worldly standards. We are perfected in the Choice to See the Truth, at any cost.

Lent is our Road to Calvary as we bear the full weigh of the Cross on our shoulders. There’s no one else to blame for the cross we all have to bear on our own.

It’s been said that Jesus deepest wound was in the shoulder that bore the Cross. He was cut to the bone before he was nailed to the Cross. Lent is the journey of suffering as Christ suffered. What does Salvation mean if not for the forgiveness of every sin, never to be seen or remembered by the Only One who forgives perfectly. The Joy of Salvation is One Highest One who loved us enough to Hope we would all live to know the Truth of God’s Unconditional Love.

The year of the Snake offers the perfect Time to shed our skin. We may be super-sensitive in the Light of our failures, but as Faith grows and expands, we’ll have thicker skin. It won’t matter what anyone else thinks, when we receive the Blessing of Unconditional Love, straight from the Source that never fails us. We don’t have to know an “enemy” when we accept the Truth that we created the enemy. We chose to be the judge and jury of another Human Being without knowing the Truth. What “someone said” is far from God’s witness of the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth.

God is Light and in him is no darkness at all. God’s messengers are Light as all the colors in the spectrum of the rainbow. The Holy Spirit is God’s Eternal Light within. That’s all God sees beyond the veil of darkness that was cast by the evil one.

We deny God when we fail to see the Light in another Human Being. The Light of Love shines through every living creation. We only have to look to be healed of the pain of the separation of one from another.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.

A GOOD DAY TO: Enjoy family and friends.

Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. OC-Totem –Dog:  Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death.  This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle.  Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion.  All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
