12 Wind / IK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 brings the intention of Understanding and offers us a gift of Retrospection. As we look back on our experience, all the pieces can be drawn together to establish a new Personal Truth. We are transformed by the Wisdom of our new experience.

The Monkey/CHUEN trecena holds the purpose of Inspiration. The Monkey helped us to see our lives as an Artistic Expression of Being. We are always creating. Through our Consciousness of the Divine, we can create Beauty. Each experience creates a thread in our tapestry of darkness and light. As we look back, placing the threads together, beauty can always be created from Higher Consciousness.

Wind/IK is the Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit. The Cherokee Whirlwind represents the whirling of life and the breath of the Universe that carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit. The rhythm of our breath is the pulse of the universe. We breath and are breathed into Light by the Creator.

Wind/IK resides in the North, the direction that connects us to the Ancestors and their Sacred Wisdom. The glyph illustrates a portal carved in stone that is seen in many of the sacred sites of the Maya. They were windows to the stars that magnified the sound of the wind… the sounds of life and the Voice of the Creator. They call attention to the world created by the sound of our voice.

6 Wisdom / CIB

Greetings Kin,

Tone 6 brings the Intention of Flow. We’ve been stabilized and empowered to harness momentum for forward movement. The energy of Tone 6 is compared to a great athlete in motion.  Tone 6 is a Peak Day for Performance in the upward climb of new Spiritual Growth.

Wisdom/CIB connects us to the Wisdom of our Ancestors. The Old Ones evidence that Wisdom is Acquired through our direct experience. As a Yellow Day Sign of the South, CIB can complete an understanding through our Relationships that will fuel our Passion.

The glyph is an illustration of the Mind in its Highest State of Consciousness. CIB reminds us that our Highest Consciousness is dependent on a Spirit of Forgiveness. Only through the release of our resentments are our minds Open to Receive and Connect with Higher Wisdom.

Greetings Kin,

The next 13 days…

1 Monkey/CHUEN begins a new Season of Light. We begin the Summer Season of this Tzolk’in round of 260 days. We will multiply Love through the Miracle of Birth.

Human’s Highest Personal Experience of Spirit is taking part in the Creation of a New Consciousness. Divine Intervention is a necessary part of the Magic of Creation. The Creator is the Source of the new Divine Spark. Through the experience of Birth, we will bear witness to an Act of Divine Authority.

Monkey/CHUEN is the Weaver of Time. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on Monkey’s head, connecting our Past, Present and Future. Monkey works through our unconscious to draw Inspiration. The face of Monkey is similarly imposed on the glyph of Night/AKBAL, the Day Sign of Spirit that Speaks in our Dreams. Monkey/CHUEN is the Day Sign of a Dreamer, capable of manifesting the Dream. CHUEN can weave a Dream into a thing of Beauty.

7th & 8th UINALS:
We still exist in the 7th uinal that Balances the Above and the Below. The Flint/ETZNAB trecena offered a clearing of karma that Purified our Spirit. Monkey/CHUEN inspires us to Create an Expression of Unconditional Love. The 7th uinal crystallizes our vision of the future. 10 Sun/AHAU will complete the 7th uinal, balancing the Above and Below through a Revelation of Light. We will begin the 8th uinal, Purified in Spirit for Justice accomplished by Divine Intervention.

21 DAYS of CEREMONY: 1 Monkey/CHUEN marks 21 days to the K’iche Maya New Year celebrated on 8 B’atz (8 Monkey/CHUEN). Observing 21 days of personal ceremony is a traditional preparation for those who count the days to be initiated as Mayan Daykeepers on the New Year. 8 B’atz marks the Maya’s Highest Celebration of the Sacred Calendar of Creation.

PEAK DAYS/PEAK ENERGY:
The momentum of movement is created on Tone 6, the cresting of a wave of trans-formative energy. These are the most favorable days for influence and accomplishment.  The lower numbered Tones hold less energy, intended as days of inner work. The higher numbered Tones are compared to a wave crashing – a powerful energy already set into its course of motion.

  • 6 Wisdom/CIB – Connected to the Ancestors, we learn their Way to Higher Consciousness, through the Intention of Forgiveness.
  • 7 Earth/CABAN – We are Balanced by the Forces of Nature and the Movement of Mother Earth.
  • 8 Flint/ETZNAB – The Truth of Spirit is exalted for a new Transformation of Justice.
  • 9 Storm/CAUAC – We are Transformed by a Regeneration of Consciousness of the Creator’s Spark within and the Truth of our Unbridled Freedom.
