Shadow has been expressing his grief at the loss of his mate, Jackie. Kadee, a young female eagle has been trying to earn his affection. He’s had some trouble moving on. He draws closer and then backs away. Kadee has respected his feelings, though she continues to visit the nest, which she has claimed for her future. Shadow expresses his grief after a period of closeness. (It’s time to make up his mind, now that another Eagle is watching Kadee work in the nest.)
