MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

Monkey/CHUEN is the archetype of a Divine Creator. CHUEN is Day that marks the Initiation of the Mayan Daykeepers. CHUEN is the “Weaver of Time,” shown with “all time rolled up” in the Monkey’s head. CHUEN shares the Wisdom of Time and the Truth of Love’s Power to lead the Creation of Beauty from our Heart.

CHUEN is the Master Artist that weaves every thread of experience into the beautiful tapestry of our Life. Monkey/CHUEN represents Human’s Divine Gift to be a Conscious Witness that creates Love.

CHUEN has the Sense to put Love into practice to create a world out of Dreams. CHUEN leads the 1st Season of the K’iche Chol Q’ij (South) Human calendar. By the Northern count, CHUEN guides the 3rd season of Creation – the blossoming of Life in Human’s cycle of Harvest. Monkey/CHUEN believes in the Reality of Dreams. A canvas Above holds the Masterpiece in progress. Monkey watches through the expanse of Time below, a Witness to every stroke that was guided by a Light of Divine Inspiration.

CHUEN can help us FEEL Truth of a Divine Power running straight from our Heart through our Hands. Monkey/CHUEN holds the potential for a mystical experience of Consciousness – the Unseen Truth of Reality we Feel and Know. CHUEN’s Spiritual Experience can feel like an “instant manifestation” of Common Sense. We Know we Know, and there’s a LOT more we Know we can Know, and USE.

On Peak Tone 6 we enter the Divine Flow. Momentum was created through a rhythm and pattern of movement. Tone 6 is an “inspiration for movement” compared to a great athlete, engaging every Divine Resource into a Race toward the end.

The 6th Hour of the day is the last hour before the zenith Light. The Divine Human thought of Creation is to engage our resources in their most efficient way. We learn a better way as Time goes along. Like stuffing a pile of envelopes, we started one-by-one. It was easier as an assembly line.

We started with the “end in mind” and now we see a “higher end.” It’s beyond our imagination just how far we could go. We want to SEE just how far we could go. On Tone 6 we let go and go with the flow with all our heart. All the steps we practiced fall into the Beauty of a Divine “work” of Consciousness, and Truth that will uphold our Faith in the Future. We Feel the Power of Love in Heart, engaging the Mind to Flow through Human’s hand.

 

Monkey/CHUEN uses Consciousness to learn something.  CHUEN is the friendly trickster who can help us see our Self from an objective point of view, through a Sense of Humor. (Another non-human archetype, like the Dog, can help us see our self without offending our Ego.)

CHUEN holds the Sense of the Dog’s Truth of Love. The Dream of Love is everywhere, waiting Unseen in the darkness for its Moment in the Light. Consciousness offers the “light to Know” everyone is waiting for Love that’s True tomorrow. The ONLY Love that’s TRUE tomorrow is Love that was True Today. In all seriousness the Monkey would tell us, “You don’t believe in Love at first sight. The moment you think you’ve found “the one” you go back to the past to see when it began. Until you believe in that “moment in the past” you don’t even bother to imagine the “tomorrow of Love.”

The Monkey is curious about Human’s limitation to see what is SO OBVIOUS when the eyes of Consciousness are opened. The Monkey gets a bad rap from Human – a Divine Genius of the Natural World with very special gifts of Consciousness. One theory of the Monkey’s gifts of adaptation is called the “100th monkey effect.” Behaviorists studied monkeys on a remote island. They found a threshold – an nth degree, where monkeys, universally, began adopting the same tool and practice. Numbers were important in mythology, employed as a universal language of measure, priority, and importance. We are witness to the Whole, consciously or unconsciously. (We can “feel” that “3” is a crowd, unless they are aligned as One. Then “3” becomes the unstoppable “3 Musketeers.”) Numbers influence our experience of Life. The Monkey counts Time as a Tool of Creation.

Residing in the West, CHUEN offers a Light to see our Unknown Future isn’t “Unknown” when we Choose to Create it. We can DESIGN it to Human specification, with a Higher End in mind from the beginning. We can leave the “finished Masterpiece” in the Creator’s Hand. CHUEN is a Master of Arts that is said to rarely finish what it starts before moving on to the next “shiny thing.” The Monkey doesn’t play by Human rules. The Monkey creates for the Experience of the Divine Communion. Any creator knows that the reason we gather all the tools is to lose our self in the Flow. We don’t want any interruptions for that “next thing” we will be inspired to do. (ANY good artist knows that when there is no clear “next thing,” it’s time to lay down the brush. “Human’s next” will leave the fingerprints all over it.) Creation begets creation. Why wouldn’t we want to be working on the canvas that calls to our heart?

Through the Element of Water, Monkey, marked by 11, reflects an Atonement of Heart and  Mind – giving  more than the 9 to create the 1. Number 11 reflects the clarity of High Resolution – the Sense to do more than Go with a Divine Flow, adding its own Force in the same direction. Number 11 symbolizes a “resolution of One Way” that is Our Best Way.

Monkey/CHUEN reminds us that we’re Time Travelers. It’s plain to see that we can go to any time in the past and “live it again.” It only takes a “little sense” to see we also travel to the future. The “Wright  Brothers” traveled to the future and saw an airplane and created it. WE travel to the future for every Creation of our Life. Monkey shares the “Common Sense” of Curiosity. If we’re creating the future in our imagination, why don’t we imagine what we want to see? Can it be that easy? Don’t we See what we Expect to See? (We can also learn what we expect to Know.)

TIME is a Treasure and a Divine Gift of Love. We can never have enough Time in our life. We work so hard to believe for tomorrow. We are never “good enough” today, when our Human Ego feels something Higher we could be. Choices to Love and Forgive are the Times the Human Ego can see we’re worthy. When we are aligned with the 1 Above, we know there’s a Time for us. If we have any sense that this is True for us, we can believe it’s True for the Whole. We are all reaching Today for that Dream of who we will be with a little more TIme.

I had an awesome Moment yesterday. I began the climb as a martyr for Love. The thoughts of injustice left an appealing scent, the Ego “deserved” to feel. “Injustice” was the fact in plain sight. I could only tear my thoughts away when I called it a “Divine Offering.” Yesterday, I picked up that same “scent” of a thought I wanted to follow, only I’d turned away before it grabbed ALL of my attention. It was easier. It was no longer a matter of “life and death.” The “injustice” was only an experience that will be changed by Time. And, I know it’s true.

Forgiveness can be as easy as moving on with Life. We don’t have to fix everything, when the Truth of Love is fixed by Time. We want Time to “get it right.” We can Love by sharing Time. The Offering to the Whole is a Second Chance that can manifest the Dream for tomorrow. We are all waiting to be “finished.”

To all my relations, may we see the Power of Time and Love in our own hands. May we count the days we will be willing to forgive, to create a Dream for someone’s tomorrow. May we see what the Monkey sees, that most Human behavior is carried out without any sense of what we’re doing.

Time is a treasure to discover the Truth of our Own Transformation. When I began this blog, I was grasping in thin air for some way to live a happy life. I was so lost from a decade of depression and displacement. I hoped for a place I could belong. I never dreamed it. I remember mornings driving to work, trying to find SOME way to love these “horrible people.” Affirmations didn’t work. It’s plain to see now that what I created was the experience of trying to love a horrible cast of characters I’d made real in my mind. I was SO invisible. I finally CHOSE it and used the Time to Observe what was really going on. It was fertile soil for finding my fertile soil. The “work” isn’t as hard as “trying to love” what we don’t love. There’s plenty we Love to Love. Love will always have its tomorrow.

May we dream the Tomorrow that is possible in our Dreams. May we employ the FULL use of our Imagination. Hoping never has a clear picture in mind. Faith in Time is the Force of Love to Imagine and the Power to Create.

May we call upon the Light we were given within to see that we Know. May the Divine One make Common Sense of Truth that we can only grasp for a moment before we forget the Full Force of the thought that slips away. May we imagine a day when the Vision stands still long enough to see all the Beauty that could be created with Time. Just for fun, may we imagine what we coud do with “all the TIme in the world.”

May we apply Time to the Reason to Love and Forgive. May we Love the Before, dreaming of the After. May we believe in the Reckoning of Divine Justice ordered in its Perfect Time and Place.

I’m grateful that Consciousness was created as the Time to Love. I’m grateful that it is okay to be happy, even as our heart breaks for the Whole.

CELEBRATING A COUNT OF DAYS: 2,000 Daily Journals
April 9, 2021 marks 2,000 journals that Count the Days from October 18, 2015, 8 Monkey/CHUEN. I had followed the calendar since 2002, but it was this day that I dedicated to a journal of 260-days. It was a “last hope” to find meaning for my life. The “major life change” was completed in 260 days. The rounds that followed have raised the same Truths to Higher Consciousness with a “major life change” every time around. With a daily journal I found that the SAME THINGS HAPPEN ON THE SAME DAYS. My own journal is MY Truth of Time, and the growing evidence that I was created to be Here and Now – a place that was held for me from the beginning. I don’t know how, but I believe in a Divine Way. I still can’t “imagine God,” but I can Feel the Truth of Love as a Power and a State of Mind. I’m grateful for EVERY day that brought me here. I’m grateful that Wisdom makes up for the past, so no Time is ever lost. The journey of 260 days looked “impossible” at the start. It woke me up in the middle of the night with fear for what I would have to say tomorrow. I was sure I’d fail for lack of sleep. And, I hardly had a moment to watch TV. 🙂 An Intention of Love became more important over Time – something I’d rather do. Life can be changed by a Hand of Love. What’s no longer needed can fall away. I don’t worry so much about “what’s wrong with me.” I know One who can fix things on my behalf with One Intention to Love and Create a Life that matters. Time never hurts anything for all there is to know.

Life was hopeless when I started. I drove a car with 3 windows taped up, and couldn’t use the drive-through windows because the driver’s window wouldn’t roll down. That was my “public image” for years through a very hard time. Today there is abundance in my life. Though, the more there is, the more Love matters more. I’m grateful for the Time you’ve been the Dog with me.

I’m keeping a personal count of days to 2,222. On 1,111 I completed a Pilgrimage that was the Dream of a Lifetime. I witnessed an “impossible” dream come True. The inspiration was shared by 1 Wind/IK (Minisa). She was the first Wind under my Eagle/MEN wings as the Dance Chief for my first Sun/Moon Dance Ceremony. I took flight on 3 Eagle/MEN in 2002, before I knew anything about the calendar. YOUR numbers are written on the calendar. In fact, for ANYONE who dedicated themselves to the path on 8 Monkey/CHUEN, will mark these very same counts in their future, after completing the 4th and 8th rounds.

The magic happens when you invest yourself in every One of the 20 archetypes, aspects of the Alpha and Omega. They were preserved as “characters” Human could understand to conceive a Divine Relationship. The Maya drew a picture in stone. Mother Earth is the Creator’s dynamic illustration of the Whole, and Our Place as One for ALL Time.

6 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
