The Season of Expectations
Greetings Beloved Kin,
I’ve always felt a Sense of Expectation leading up to the New Year. The feelings can be covered up by the tradition of wondering what Santa will bring for Christmas. When I knew nothing would appear under a tree, I felt the same. Only my expectations changed for a Light of Divine Inspiration that would come shining through. The season turned to expectations of Truth and Blessings that the Creator would provide to restore my hope for a New Way forward.
There’s a juxtaposition of feelings between our Darkest Days and our Faith in the future. Our Ancestors were conscious of the Cold Full Moon, when they were faced with the odds of survival. While they dreamed of the Seed they would plant in Spring, they prayed that the provisions in store would carry them through. Do we have enough of “what it takes” to hold Faith in the balance?
I can’t remember a Christmas or New Year when a Light of Truth didn’t offer a new reason to believe in God’s Divine Provision to restored my faith. Faith is the Greatest Treasure and the Source of Everything we need to Live and Do whatever is required of us to meet the challenges of life.
In the holiday season of 2021 there was a Day I lost all Faith. The Winter Solstice was a very dark night. A new fallen snow had covered Mother Earth in a blanket and I imagined how easy it might be to dull my senses, bundle up, and sit outside until I fell into a final slumber. That was the polar opposite of the way I’d want to go. (I imagined the story, after.)
When all hope was lost of finding my way in the world, I didn’t know a miracle that was waiting to happen at the end of the Year. I didn’t know that a place was already prepared for me, 2,000 miles away. I didn’t know that by January 11th I’d be signing a contract offer on a home, an “impossible dream” after being a renter since 1998. Though, there had been miracles that carried me through some very dark times, and there was light at the end of the tunnel, I still couldn’t imagine a miracle that was waiting at the end of the road.
Statistics show that most accidents happen when we’re close to home. We lose vigilance and faith when we’ve traveled so many miles and see the Signs that “we’re almost there.” The way defies logic, but the last mile is the hardest time to carry on. Maybe it’s the weight of our personal expectations, and how much Faith we’ve invested that would be devastating to lose the closer we get to a “finish line.”
God knows our limits and how hard it is to bear. So does the evil one know our expectations and how vulnerable we are when Faith is reaching its end. Our Human emotions are not a measure of our Faith. By Human Nature we all have our limits when we still haven’t seen the Signs of a blessing that is waiting just beyond the veil. Our limits of Faith is the exact Time and Place for a miracle. We see the Truth of a blessing that is offered by a Hand Above. And when the miracle comes, we’ll remember we still had a mustard seed of Faith, enough to live and pray for tomorrow.
If you can’t see beyond today, if you question that the Signs don’t apply to your life, remember the Light of Faith that is still shining and the Promise of God’s plan for tomorrow. It can feel as though we’ve been waiting forever for a Miracle, though when Miracles happen, they happen all-at-once. The promise of a Light for the future can happen overnight after a Dark Night of the Soul. We are in Divine Position for a Miracle when we ask the Holy Spirit to carry us through and beyond the expectations of our doubts and fears.
We’ve all experienced a Miracle before, when we couldn’t imagine how we’d live through circumstances where we saw no way through and didn’t know how long it would take before we were set free to live again. Remember a Miracle in your life. God wouldn’t build up our Faith to abandon us in the end. All things are in perfect order for God’s plan.
The Darkest Days always give way to the Birth of Light, as Above, so Below. The new Year is year of 9 (2+0+2+5). 2024 is the Year of 8, a Sign of Life and Abundance to Infinity and the symbol of the Creator’s Divine Justice for the whole. Signs are for the future, so we can be prepared by Faith for the Answer to our Prayer. This is the 9th month from the Seed of Faith we planted at the Spring Equinox in 2024. We are feeling the pain and contractions that are our journey from the womb to Light we’ve never seen before, and a life that lies ahead that we have no way to imagine.
Believe in Miracles. They are the Truth that was shared by our own experience before. A Miracle is waiting to happen again, all at once. By Faith in the Holy Spirit the “present” has been drawn to our Tree of Life. Every Divine Cause has a Divine Effect. The end is near. The Year Bearer 13 Earth/CABAN was the Sign of the year 2024 that promised an Ascension of Faith on Earth, as the Effect of our Common Prayers for Peace on Earth and a New Beginning.
Matthew 16:24-26 – KJV
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
May we deny the doubts and fears of the “old man” and take up the Staff of Faith in our own Truth.
Hebrews 11:21 – KJV
21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
Jacob was sold into slavery by his brothers and traveled a very long road to an end of becoming the King that would be a savior for those who tossed him out as unworthy to belong. He was witness to many miracles. Some see the “staff” as the Truth of Miracles we seen with our own eyes. By a Power of the Holy Spirit his final blessing was a prayer offered by the Power of the Holy Spirit that turned his life around to complete the Creator’s Highest Cause.
May we face the holidays and the Darkest Nights leaning on the Staff of Truth we’ve learned by our own experience. May we put away the “old man” born of a Seed that came before we sacrificed our Life into the Hand of Divine Providence. May we push away at the veil of Darkness that lies just before we See the Light.
God didn’t bring us this far without a plan to prove our Faith in the Word that is and shall be true for us from the beginning to an end beyond all imagination. God knows the perfect Time to see the promise of a Miracle is the Truth. The Author of Creation is the Highest Power and Authority over everything, and God spoke the end at the beginning.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
