When is the spring equinox in 2025?
The vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere will occur on March 20, 2025, at 09:01 GMT (4:01 AM Central Time in Chichen Itza). This event marks the beginning of astronomical spring.
Day and night are almost equal
At an equinox, people on the Earth experience an almost equal duration of daylight and nighttime – about twelve hours. Why not exactly twelve hours? Theoretically, when the Earth isn’t inclined relative to the Sun, day and night should be equal in length. However, our planet has an atmosphere that refracts light like a prism. When you’re looking at the setting Sun near the horizon, its actual position is about 1.5 degrees lower than what appears to the eye. Atmospheric refraction delays the sunset, which results in more daylight than nighttime on the day of an equinox. At temperate latitudes, this difference equals about eight minutes.
The Sun rises exactly in the east
Another interesting phenomenon that occurs at the equinox is the Sun rising due east and setting due west. It’s true for any place on the Earth except for the North and South Poles, where there is no east or west.

Spring is almost here in the Northern Hemisphere. With the vernal equinox on March 20 — a way-marker in our planet’s journey around the sun — it’s time to say goodbye to the winter stars, with the likes of Orion now visibly sinking into the western horizon after dark. Rising in the east — to the left of, an beneath, the planet Mars — and becoming dominant are a bevy of stars and constellations, including Leo, Boötes and Virgo.
Equinox Light Effect at Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins: El Castillo, the Calendar Pyramid and the Temple to the Feathered Serpent of Light, Kukulkan/Quetzalcoatl
The Feathered Serpent is the symbol of Enlightenment from Above. The ancient architecture is perfectly aligned for the Spring and Fall Equinox, and also magnifies the Vibration of the wind and echoes the call of the Sacred Quetzal bird when you clap your hands in front of the pyramid stairs. The Light descends in the zenith hour.
Mayan Time
The date of the Spring Equinox, 03/20/2025, falls on 4 Road/EB, representing Human’s Road to Destiny. (EB is also known as Human and holds Position 12 – the symbol of Human and the Intention/Tone of Understanding. EB marks a milestone of Truth as a Time that we won’t forget. EB represents the whole of Humanity and the purpose of Time is a Collective experience on a global scale. We are all witness to an experience together at the same time.
The Cherokee Rattlesnake Tooth is symbolized by the rainbow, an electromagnetic display of ethereal Light. Auroras occur most often near the Spring and Fall Equinox. The Rattlesnake Tooth is also a symbol of Spirit Medicine. It was used by the shaman and healer to break the skin where the Spiritual Medicine would be applied. It left a mark. We are Healed by the Creator’s Divine Truth and Love. Today is the beginning that we’ll look back to remember.
Witnessing the Truth at the same time doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone will see it the same. So far, the trecena of Offering/MULUC (representing the Christ Spirit) has offered Signs of Good Luck. The trecena is represented by Water and raises the tides of our feelings and emotions. It’s a Lunar Year of the Snake, and shedding our skin.
This round of Human’s calendar, the trecena of the “Christ Spirit” is aligned with the Season of Lent, leading to a Resurrection and New Life. EB also represents the “Saq’ Be’, the Sacred Road of Time and the “Sacred White Road” of purity, the Milky Way Galaxy is the Road “where the Dog’s Ran” to gather souls to heaven. The Dog Star Sirius is the “Sun of our Heart” that points to the Central Sun of our Galaxy. The Calendar is Human’s order of migration to our Divine Destiny to become the Living Personification of the Creator’s Truth, Wisdom, and Unconditional Love.
The Russell-McPherron effect at an equinox produces auroras without a Solar Storm. The effect is described as a magnetic link-up between the Sun and the Earth’s magnetic poles. Humans are magnetic. We might not think we feel it, though our body is conscious of it on the smallest scale.
We can “Create Lucky” if all of us at once, offer a Prayer of Faith in Gratitude. No matter what the global news may be, if God allowed it, there’s a Divine Meaning and Purpose for us to see in the Balance of Darkness and Light of the Equinox.

We can clap our hands in Gratitude for a Miracle, and a Resurrection that was planned at the beginning. (It will be a day of clapping at El Castillo. No one goes there without wanting to hear that.)

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Racoon’s star symbol is Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart. Totem Monkey: The energy of humor, the artisan and craftsmen of the Universal energy. Helps us to lighten up in all situations, was the glyph of the 4th world creation in conjunction with OC so that we would have humor in all of our endeavors. The humor, when added to a serious situation will allow you to have a less destructive pattern of resolution. This is the “Cosmic joke” energy to help us transcend the duality. A life path of comedian, actor, artist, artisan writer, satirist, any path is enhanced with this humor in conjunction with the creative energies.
