“3I” Stands for 3rd Interstellar Visitor

1I/ʻOumuamua was the 1st ever discovered in 2027, and 2I/Borisov was discovered in 2019. Two Novas at Once is another first in recorded history. Appearing 13-days apart, the 1st (V462 Lupi) appeared on June 12, 2025 in the constellation Lupus, and the 2nd (V572 Velorum) on June 25, 2025 in Vela. Star T CrB could nova could make it 3 any day now.
