The Most Famous Solar Storm in History

On  September 1, 1859, the effect of an X45-Class Solar Flare was the most ferocious solar storm in recorded history. “The Carrington Event” sparked auroras from Cuba to Hawaii, set fire to telegraph stations, and wrote itself into history books as the Biggest. Solar. Storm. Ever. 

“The Carrington Event was not unique,” says Hisashi Hayakawa of Japan’s Nagoya University, whose recent study of solar storms has uncovered other events of comparable intensity. “While the Carrington Event has long been considered a once‐in‐a‐century catastrophe, historical observations warn us that this may be something that occurs much more frequently.”

EVEN CARRINGTON WOULD BE IMPRESSED: On Sept. 1, 1859, English astronomer Richard Carrington sketched the most famous sunspot in history. While Carrington was watching an image of the sun projected on a screen, the sunspot produced a blinding X45-class solar flare, followed two days later by a planet-wide geomagnetic storm. We call it the “Carrington Event.”

How does today’s giant sunspot compare to Carrington’s? Here is the answer:

The surface area of Carrington’s sunspot was ~2300 millionths of the solar disk. The surface area of 4294-4296 is 2080 millionths, about 90% as large.

To be clear, 4294-4296 is actually two sunspots. Their close proximity makes them appear as a single behemoth–an unfair advantage vs. Carrington. Even so, strong explosions are likely. The crowding of the two sunspots’ magnetic canopies raises the odds of reconnection and an X-flare of their own. Any explosions today will be geoeffective.

NOTE FOR COMPARISON: The X2-Class Flare December 1, 2025, came from Sunspot 4295 (indicated above), an unexpected threat, considering the size.  “Reconnection” flares are produced as a chain reaction. The eruption of one sunspot can trigger another. The major threat would be a chain reaction on the scale of Sunspot Complex 4294-4296, exploding all at once.

GEOMAGNETIC STORMS PREDICTED: A new NOAA model of yesterday’s X2-class solar flare and CME suggests that the CME might not miss Earth after all. The storm cloud could graze our planet on Dec. 3rd. Moreover, the CME will scoop up a solar wind stream just ahead of it, adding heft to the potential impact. G2-class geomagnetic storms are possible on Dec. 3-4.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

1 Offering/MULUC is the Reason to weather the storm. MULUC is the symbol of the Christ Spirit, the Heart of Compassion and the Wisdom of Divine Discernment. The next 13-day cycle offers the Light of Divine Inspiration, a Cause that will produce a Divine Effect.

We have nothing to fear when we give thanks for everything that is beyond Human’s control. We’re reminded of the One Source that is the Sovereign Authority of the Universe. God is in control, and promised a Divine Provision for those who Love and Respect for a Hand of Divine Agency, who promised the Balance of Justice.

What may look “out of control” to us, is part of the journey that leads to God’s plan. We “wake-up” when our life spins out of control and pay attention to what’s going on, and we finally consider the reasons that came before. Our Salvation is an admission of failure. From God’s perspective, we had to fail to seek the One who never fails us.

Our emotions are healed, when we finally accept that “we can’t know” how it is supposed to look, when the end is beyond our imagination. Though, we can look to see the Power of the Light in the Universe and an Order that follows a Divine Design.

The Sun is offering Signs to be prepared for an interruption in communication systems. Don’t leave the house or turn to another Human Being. The “three days of darkness” could be a communications blackout. We can change the course of our life when we USE the Time we are given to See Clearly in about 3 Days.

12 Sun/AHAU completes the 11th uinal of “higher wisdom.” 11:11 marked the Time we were ordered to face the Truth of a Wake-up Call. 12 Sun/AHAU is the Light of Understanding and a Comprehension of Truth. “God is” and there are no other gods before him.

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

A GOOD DAY TO: Offer appreciation for all of creation.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA BO EO IW:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
