The Word is a living expression of the Creator’s Love with the Power to accomplish its end. We only have to Ask to know, then watch, wait, and listen. To know the Lord is the Answer. Only through the Truth can we realize the Lord’s Way of Love.

In a Season of Resurrection we are claimed as heirs in a Divine Family — Loved as we are. Through the Gift of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to share the Light of the Word.

The Full Pink Moon, the Paschal Moon, Visible April 1-2, 2026

The Sign of Easter

The full “Pink Moon” can be witnessed on the night of April 1-2, 2026, with the lunar event expected to appear bright and nearly full throughout the night despite its peak occurring early in the morning. The Pink Moon will reach its peak on April 2 at 02:12 UTC.  

In Christianity, it’s known as the Lenten Moon if it’s the last Full Moon of winter (before the spring equinox) or the Paschal Full Moon if it’s the first ecclesiastical Full Moon of spring (after the equinox). This year, April’s ecclesiastical Full Moon occurs after the ecclesiastical spring equinox, making it the Paschal Moon.

A New Identity

Human beings are primarily distinguished from other creatures by advanced cognitive abilities, including complex symbolic language, abstract reasoning, and cumulative cultural evolution. These unique traits allow humans to create art, technology, and social institutions, alongside a unique capacity for shared intentionality, morality, and self-reflection. Humans have the capacity to share wisdom accumulated by reason and by demonstration, to be carried on by generations that follow.

One thing we have in common with all living things is the “identity imprint” that defaults to Love. All living things identify with the one who claims us as one of their own.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We can’t identify with the thoughts of the Author of our Creation. But we can identify with the Son of God who lived and died in the flesh as another Human Being, and who shared his Wisdom as the Living Word.

The Wisdom of the Past

The Owl is a symbol of Wisdom, capable to see what’s behind. The Owl has elongated eyes that are fixed in their sockets. They have to turn their head to see a 270-degree view. This also accounts for their inquisitive expressions, turning their heads to see from different angles. Noiseless flight and broader wingspan allows them to fly low and slow under the cover of darkness without being seen or heard by their prey.

Their ways can teach us a thing or two. Human’s hindsight is 20/20. Seeing the Truth by our own experience is an opportunity to learn to make wise choices in the future. We often prefer to forget. When we’re redeemed by Love there’s nothing to fear.
