2 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Journey to Dynamic Consciousness

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

2 Serpent/CHICCHAN

2 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Serpent/CHICCHAN “lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.”  The Seed/KAN trecena is guiding us to see ourselves as we would choose to be.  “I Am” are the words God spoke when Moses asked who He/She was. Through a Spark of the Divine, we were given the power to be whatever we Say we Are.

2 Serpent/CHICCHAN asks us to consider our highest Spiritual Aspirations. Tone 2 is about making choices and looking at things from two sides. As we dream of our own “I Am” we might remember to see things from the perspective of our whole body and soul.

1 Seed/KAN – Journey of Dynamic Consciousness

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

1 Seed/KAN

1 Seed/KAN

Greetings Kin,

We begin again under the guidance of the Day Sign that demonstrates our dynamic potential. Seed reflects the power of God that bonds the elements of Spirit and Matter to create the genesis for a life with its own conscious identity. The Seed/KAN trecena will draw our awareness to the Ether of Consciousness held within the Human body.

The Day Sign of Seed/KAN is also known as the Dragon, a symbol of power found in cultures throughout the world. Dragon represents the energy of potency, life force, growth, prosperity and expansion.

The word “dragon” is derived from two words in Greek meaning “a huge serpent or snake” and “I see clearly.” Our new journey holds the potential to expand our awareness of Spirit as it speaks to us through an expression of our physical body. As we learn to discern the spirit-language of the body we facilitate our Whole-Being of Consciousness.

7 Earth/CABAN – Crystallization of Spirit

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

7 Earth/CABAN

7 Earth/CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Sunday (6 Wisdom/CIB) was celebrated as Father’s Day in the USA. A call to my Dad reminded me of how tightly we hold our cherished memories. We have a vast repository of knowledge created from our own experiences and combined with wisdom passed down.  As God’s dynamic creation expands we become more-interconnected parts of a greater whole.

The intention for this core trecena was “to be, or not to be” human. (Tone 2, Road/EB, aka Human) Earth/CABAN is a symbol of all knowledge and degrees of spiritual growth.  Our growth is drawn through the context of knowing who we are.

6 Wisdom/CIB

Greetings Kin,

Tone 6 helps us to hit our stride on the climb to peak energies of the Monkey/CHUEN trecena. As Monkey paints the picture of who we are, we will discover we are more than just the sum of our own parts. We are connected as One through cellular memories passed down by each generation.

CIB serves as the guardian of Universal Consciousness. The sum of all our progress is built on an accumulation of knowledge outside our own. And, each new generation is a hope to the last that we might realize our true potential.

UINAL OF IMIX Core Days: Kin 121-140 UINAL OF IMIX, Core Days: Kin 121-140 The core days of the Tzolk’in can be thought of as an illustration of the World Tree. The Maya believed this to be the axis mundi – the center of the world that connects Heaven and Earth, where the four directions meet; where communication from lower realms may ascend to higher ones and blessings from higher realms may descend to lower ones and be disseminated to all.

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ : Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.

Crystallization of Spirit Day 6

We are forever connected to our ancestors as we are One as the substance of  Spirit. We are all stakeholders in the future our world could hold. Our ancient ancestors would do everything within their power to ease our way.

CIB reminds us that our Highest Consciousness is dependent on a Spirit of Forgiveness. We all walk the hard road of life. Only through the release of our resentments are we open to hear the wisdom they might share.

This is a time to call on the old ways, the old knowledge, and the wise counsel offered by our Grandfathers and Grandmothers. They offer us proven and worthy tools to start from a new beginning. It’s now our turn to carry their effort to its next highest accomplishment.

The annual migration of the Monarch butterfly is considered a miraculous phenomenon of nature in that 4 generations of butterflies are required to complete the trip. Each generation carries only one leg of the journey. It takes all 4 generations working in concert to manifest a common intention.

To my all my relations, may we recognize ourselves as the Hope of a New Generation. May  we rise to our own occasion to carry on the sacred intentions of the One.

5 Eagle/MEN

5 Eagle/MEN

Greetings Kin,

Eagle/MEN sees to the horizon in all directions and raises us to the heavenly realm. A Gift of Divine Vision will be the empowerment that carries us through our trecena of crystallization. If we direct our eyes within we might remember how we began as a reflection displaying a spectrum of colorful light.

As Tone 5 brings the understanding of what is needed, we are gifted with Eagle Vision as the first crystals of our Spirit are made visible. Through the vision of Eagle/MEN we are lifted up to see ourselves through God’s eyes.

4 Jaguar/IX

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 establishes volume into the form of height, length, depth and breadth, and is also a symbol of the 4 directions. As our crystal seeds take form, Tone 4 establishes a stabilizing force and a sense of orientation in the world.

Jaguar’s posses the power to lead us through the darkness of the unknown as a Guardian of Spirit. We are a player in determining the construct of our world. We get to decide the length, breadth and depth of our own existence.  4 Jaguar/IX brings the power to stabilize what we believe ourselves to be.

9 Transformer/CIMI – Womb of Creation Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Transformer/CIMI

9 Transformer/CIMI

Greetings Kin,

I expected this time of personal transformation to be lofty, yet all manner of challenges have presented themselves over the past 13 days. (Since I began writing this, a computer went down.)  What has felt different is that these challenges are serving as the evidence of a personal breakthrough. The Truth emerging is that my happiness really isn’t subject to outer circumstances. And, in this place of no judgement there is no urgency or fear. I’d love to know if you are experiencing the same.

Transformer/CIMI is the Day Sign that guides us through a major change. The glyph symbol of death references the Truth that something always dies when something new is born. As we are reborn in Spirit we die to our old selves. Tone 9 brings the intention of seeing the bigger picture.
