Zodiacal Light, This phenomenon can be seen from as early as the middle of February but is best seen during March, peaking at the equinox. It occurs every night but the ability to see it is much hampered by light pollution, so you will need a very dark sky to see this. At around 90 minutes after sunset, look for a single cone-shaped light source emanating in the west, shining diagonally at a slight angle eastward. If you can’t see it, use averted vision to see if it appears. Averted vision is a useful skill to learn in astronomy – look to one side of the target and use your peripheral vision as faint targets can be seen more easily, as the centre of the eye contains colour-sensitive cones and off centre is where the light sensitive rods lie – you will be using these to tease out as much light as possible. 13 Star / LAMAT
13 Star/LAMAT represents an Ascension of the Light of the Scion. Wisdom is manifested by an Application of Truth.
LAMAT is represented by Venus, the 2nd Brightest Star that shines in the Darkness and the Light. Venus is moving closer to the Sun and will cross the threshold from the Darkness to become the Morning Star at the end of March.
LAMAT’s totem is the Rabbit, a cauldron of life and a symbol of Instant Manifestation. This is a Day of “pure luck” when whatever we focus on as the object of our affection will be multiplied to Abundance.
Heaven is only a thought away when we turn to God as the Highest Object of our Affection. God’s love overflows to create the Light that shines equally in all directions. The glyph marks the 4 directions.
The “star” in the center is also the shape of earth that is opened for the planting of the Seed of Corn. An implement for planting was drawn north/south, east/west for roots to grow the foundation for our Tree of Life.
