2 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 2 is the day of Duality. Human’s way of understanding is by comparison by degree of polarity. Hot and cold are the same thing to differing degrees. (At what degree does hot become cold?) Human lives in the two worlds of physicality and Spirit. As we are called to a Vision Quest, our Intention on Tone 2 is to choose the degree to which we will live in the realm of Spirit.

Tone 2 takes the Divine Inspiration of the Creator, and apply it to our Human experience. We are Creating an Altar to Spirit within. Seed/KAN is the symbol of the People – who we Are by design. Seed holds the Power of Creation.

KAN also represents the Force within the Seed, symbolized by “dragon energy” or Force of Life… like the geomagnetic forces of the ley lines across the Earth. The “dragon” is also a symbol of “seeing clearly.” We will find our inspiration for an altar deep within ourselves. We choose our way to create Our Expression of Beauty. Seed/KAN calls attention to ourselves. Tone 2 helps us discern the Seed of our Dream.

PORTAL DAY: ELEMENT OF ETHER (Kin 181, Green Kin on the Tzolk’in Calendar)

A portal is open that thins the veil to the dimension of Spirit. The Divine Justice that is the Highest Intention of the Creator, exchanges the Love of Correspondence. What is created in one realm of existence, is balanced in all the others. A Portal helps us see that the altar we build on Earth, also exists in the realm of Spirit. As our own Expression, unique to who we are, the altar that we are building is an illustration of who we are in Spirit. We are the Living Altar.

Greetings Kin,

Star/LAMAT leads our Vision Quest to a Higher Realization of Who We Are, Who We Are Becoming, and Who We Can Be. Every Quest begins with a Vision of its Meaning and Purpose. On Tone 1, we were opened to a Divine Inspiration, a Vision, or a Dream as the purpose worthy to lead us on a Quest.

Many of our best-loved stories are centered on this theme. They begin by revealing a Challenge that is greater than the One that takes it on. The Passion of the would-be Hero is ignited by a Higher Purpose to make the resolution of this challenge their Sole Intention. Their next step is an assessment of their own Resource – through Reason, they consider what they have to bring and how they might be able to carry it out.

On Tone 2 we are given the inclination for comparisons and assessments. Our Quest hangs in the balance of a choice we make to move forward. We consider the ways our mission could succeed or fail, and the ways we are either more or less up to the challenge than someone else. Tone 2 is a day of self-reflection. We see how we are different. We can feel alone and can sense the weight of what we could carry on our own shoulders. We see the need for Divine Agency and long to be re-joined.
