7 Star/LAMAT – Multiplying Joy

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

7 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee , Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)

7 Star/LAMAT

7 Star/LAMAT

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.

Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Multiplying Joy

Galactic Tone 7 empowers us with a perspective from a higher dimension. We are encouraged to reflect on our intentions and dreams to consider their alignment with Divine Will.

We may find our points of resistance in those dreams we hold too closely. Where we are given to thinking Divine Will offers no more than the consolation prize, we miss the Truth that our dreams will be transformed into something even more beautiful.

Star/LAMAT offers us the power to multiply whatever we focus on. Star is seen as a lucky day sign that brings an easy life. Our lives become easier as we experience the joy that comes with surrender and becoming one with the flow of the Divine Spirit.

To all my relations, may we multiply our joy in letting go. May we always remember that the highest intention of the Creator is to bring Love into the world. May we reflect with gratefulness on the many beautiful gifts of the Divine Creator.

6 Deer/MANIK – Path of Beauty, Grace, and Power

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

6 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)

6 Deer/MANIK

6 Deer/MANIK

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.

Path of Beauty, Grace, and Power

The trecena of Wind/IK is guiding us on the journey of chaos that precedes personal changes and every new creation. At Tone 6, we are establishing our new sense of balance. Deer/MANIK is a highly spiritual day with energy likened to the powerful stag. Deer brings the Spirit Tools to help us move through life with beauty, grace and power.

Deer lifts us up beyond our own limitations. Living life as a pilgrimage, Deer/MANIK has mastered the art of movement. Upholding the pillars of the 4 directions, Deer is capable to guide us in any direction.

Deer teaches us to wait in patient silence so we will know when to move and when to stand still. As Deer, we are empowered to sense the unseen so that we can move swiftly beyond any danger. As Deer, we may leap with joy and unbounded freedom when we see a way is clear. As Deer, we are established as a Spirit Guide for others, embodying the Love and Silent Power of the Divine Spirit.

To all my relations, may we be blessed by the Spirit Tools of Deer/MANIK who never stays in one place, but is forever on a journey. May we learn to face life’s challenges with the silent confidence, knowing we reside under the protection and care of the Divine Spirit who meets our every need. May our walk be a path of beauty that lights a way for others to follow.

5 Transformer/CIMI – Empowered to Change

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

5 Transformer/CIMI (Cherokee, Twins/TAKATO’KA)

5 Transformer/CIMI

5 Transformer/CIMI

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others. Transformers can have the ability to send evil intentions telepathically, this is their undoing. From these acts they lose power, easily fall into a victim role and begin to manipulate with a vengeance. A good day to tie all loose ends.

Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA: Twins symbolize the Female Sun and Male Moon, whose union keeps the world going round. Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the TWINS. The energy brings major changes all throughout life, riding the tsunamis of earthquake and upheaval, making their own waves wherever they go. They undergo powerful transformations, alternating like a flashing neon sign. The challenge is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.

Empowered to Change

The Wind/IK trecena offers us a teaching on change and the power of creation. The Aztec Calendar describes the Wind/IK (Ehecatl) trecena as “the divine Whirlwind: to create chaos out of order. Order and reason outlive their purpose and must be replaced by the potential for new, unexpected, unpredictable, change.” We’re learning that chaos is an integral part of anything new. Through the discomfort and insecurity of chaos, we are given a reason and sense of urgency for change.

On the Galactic Tone 5 of Empowerment we are guided by the Day Sign of Transformer/CIMI – the facilitator of change. As the Twins (Cherokee), we are given the power to find our balance through the upheaval of chaos.

To all my relations, may we be guided to overcome our fear of change. May we learn to see chaos as a worthy gift of the Divine Spirit that foretells of empowering changes and a new creation.

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Spirit of Reconciliation

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI)

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.

Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.

See the 13-Day Trecena Guide if you’re following along with the trecena.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Spirit of Reconciliation

The Wind/IK trecena is revealing that through our words we are wielding our most awesome power. The Bible describes the Word of God as a sword, for it’s ability to cut to the heart. Our words hold the power of life that heals all negative energy and illness, as well as the power of death and destruction.

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN helps us to wield our words for the power of good by aligning ourselves with the intentions of the Divine Spirit. With the highest intention to Love, we are called into our highest purpose to be of sincere service to others.

Our own hearts are expanded when we use our words to encourage and uplift others. Through our service we are opened to give and receive an ever-growing Love of the highest order. The more we wield our power for good, the more we are empowered to do even greater good. We can set off a chain reaction of good as our example has the power to influence others.

Galactic Tone 4 allows us to see in all directions where we may bring the Light of Divine Love to our sphere of influence. We are placed exactly where we are as part of the Divine Plan.

To all my relations, may I see each person I interact with as someone who was sent directly to Me. May I be grounded in the Love of the Divine Spirit, so that my words may serve others as a direct reflection of your Divine Love, bringing new life and healing to those that receive them.

3 Seed/KAN – Eloquence of Heart

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

3 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)

3 Seed/KAN

3 Seed/KAN

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA   O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden; fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means “eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Eloquence of Heart

On the first day of movement/action under the Wind/IK trecena of communication, Galactic Tone 3 empowers us to be eloquent in our self-expressions. Seed/KAN represents our seeds of intention – our goals, wishes and dreams.

Having eloquence of expression is the quality of persuasive, moving, or graceful expression to communicate thought and reason in a powerful way. True eloquence does not consist of saying great things in a sublime style, but in being able to exchange thoughts and ideas in simple and direct ways.

Our most eloquent expressions come from the heart. Just as we draw our deepest connection to Spirit when we reveal our deepest emotions, we create closer relationships with one another when we are willing to share something of who we are.

We live in a world where most of our communications boil down to shallow pleasantries. Our exchanges may be polite, but not very meaningful. Too often, we use politeness as a means to dismiss, rather than to connect. We wait to share our feelings with ‘those that really matter.’ We show everyone that they matter when we share something of our authentic selves.

We don’t have to share our life story to be authentic. The Cherokee word dragon means “eye, to look at, to see clearly.”  To be authentic requires that we take the time to actually SEE one another. Our greatest eloquence does not rest on our choice of our words, but in our intention. In our desire to build a bridge and to be connected we are empowered with the Eloquence of Heart.

To all my relations, may my highest intention be to reflect your Divine Light, so that my words may be an instrument of your peace, hope and love.

2 Night/AKBAL – Reflecting Light

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

2 Night/AKBAL (Cherokee, Hearth, O’ya)

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well beging. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doub and insecurity.

Cherokee, 1 Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension. AKBAL-Night-Totem-OWL: Guardian of the Night Sun. Energies for the opening of mystic secrets, seeing through the masks of deception, trickery. High ability of discernment. Portals open to other worlds and dimensions for your learning and spiritual growth. Magical abilities are possible.

Reflecting Light

2 Night/AKBAL

2 Night/AKBAL

Under the trecena of Wind/IK, we are exploring our language and communication as the expression of our essential essence. Taking on the role of Wind/IK, we share the awesome responsibility of co-creation with the Divine Spirit. On the breath/wind of our words we are ever in the process of recreating ourselves and others.

Night/AKBAL brings new inspiration from the place of the unknown. Akbal is the voice that speaks to us in our dreams. The energy of Galactic Tone 2 gives us the ability to see things from two points of view.

Night/AKBAL is capable to bring something new into focus that we haven’t seen before. What has been hidden from us may now be revealed about the words we have spoken to ourselves and to others.

We may be inspired by the Prayer of St Francis…

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

To all my relations, may I be opened to see the Truth as it is expressed by my own words. Bring healing where my words have hurt myself and others, so we may be transformed as a pure reflection of the Love of the Divine Spirit.

1 Wind/IK – Breath of Spirit

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK

1 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)

1 Wind/IK

1 Wind/IK

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work bestt when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Breath of Spirit

We are beginning a new 13-day cycle under the guidance of Wind/IK. As the trecena of communication, Wind/IK is capable to teach us about the power and energy of words, and the conception and expression of ideas.

As human beings, our capability for communication is what sets us apart from all other living beings. Words represent our greatest power for co-creation with the Divine Spirit. The universe was created with a word. We create our own world through the power of our words. Our words reflect who we are, what we feel, and who we may become.

Words empower us to build relationships with one another and with the Divine Spirit. Our words impact others, having both the power to raise up and the power to destroy. Our words of integrity, compassion and love are the greatest gift we have to give, to one another and to ourselves.

IK is a Day Sign of cleansing and purification. As the breath of life, Wind blows to sweep clean the heart and psyche, the body and mind. The breath of life heals all negative energy and illness.

To all my relations, may I be swept clean, purified and made whole by the power of the Wind. May I become as an open channel to hear the Voice of Spirit, so that through your guidance I may know how I may use my own words as a power for good to bring healing, peace and love to the world.

13 Crocodile/IMIX – Divine Fellowship

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

13 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee, Turtle/ DAK’SI  I’SB)

13 Crocodile/IMIX

13 Crocodile/IMIX

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI  I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg. In Mayan is the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth. The beginning of each new era, this star in Orion appears with the rising Sun, heralding the creation of a new World cycle.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Divine Fellowship

We are completing the trecena of Offering/MULUC. Muluc has been teaching us about the power of letting go by surrendering our will to the Divine Will of the Creator. When we give something up, we leave an empty space and room for something new to grow. Here we can plant a seed for a new beginning.

We are raised up as something new by the Galactic Tone 13 of Ascension. Crocodile/IMIX is our connection to the beginning of all things. IMIX comes from the place of our primordial memories. Through the eyes of IMIX, we can see the Truth that we are all One from the beginning of time. Through the heart of IMIX, we may remember and experience the Love passed down through every generation.

Our ascension at IMIX shows us that we have never walked alone. A long line of ancestors are waiting to guide us. Ancestors that overcame our same struggles, and ancestors who achieved our own dreams, are all present and only waiting for us to listen and join in fellowship.

To all my relations, may we be opened to receive the Spiritual Gifts of Divine Relationship. May we know that we never walk alone, and that we need only listen to KNOW the Presence of Divine Spirit.

12 Sun/AHAU – Becoming Light

 THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

12 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)

12 Sun/AHAU

12 Sun/AHAU

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. Twelve is a gift of great capacity of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

Becoming Light

Each Day/KIN of the Tzolk’in Calendar is considered a deity associated with a holy icon that contains its meaning or energy. To exact our own personal meaning from the Day Sign of any KIN requires us to see things from their point of view and to share their purpose.

Sun/AHAU is considered a very sacred day on the Tzolk’in calendar. We are called to see ourselves as Divine Sparks of the Creator. Sun/AHAU is the power of light and life, bestowed on us by our brightest star, the father Sun. We can experience ourselves as Divine Light when we serve as reflections of the Creator’s Divine Love. The light of the Sun shines in all directions with reservation or judgment… Sun’s light is shown for every living thing.

Galactic Tone 12 brings the energy of all knowledge and understanding. As we are able to experience the brilliance of the Divine Light, we can begin to understand its power as the unlimited source that sustains us, and the power able to dispel every darkness. We can see our own power as we have been created for the purpose to serve as Agents of Divine Light.

To all my relations, may we reflect the light of Divine Love in every direction without resistance or hesitation, understanding we are all worthy to receive Love as Divine Sparks of the Creator. May we serve as Agents of Light that dispels the darkness for those who are struggling to find their way.

12 Sun/AHAU is the destiny sign of Ian Lungold who, through his work to establish the conversion codex, revealed the light of the Tzolk’in Calendar to a new generation.

THE SCIENCE OF SUN/AHAU

Science reveals the divine balance of energies in Earth’s relationship to the Sun. “The energy coming in from the Sun must be returned to space to keep Earth from overheating. In fact, the Earth sends exactly as much heat out to space as it receives from the Sun (plus a tiny bit more corresponding to Earth’s own heat production, from radioactive decay).” 1

Nature evidences the Truth that we were born unto the Light to become a reflection – and, the Truth that our very survival and relationship with the Divine Spirit rests in our effort to reflect the Divine Love of the Creator.

11 Storm/CAUAC – Divine Love

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

11 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA)

11 Storm/CAUAC

11 Storm/CAUAC

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.

Divine Love

Under the Muluc trecena we are aligning our hearts with the intentions of the Creator. Storm/CAUAC comes in as a powerful force that can clear away what no longer serves us, and nourishes us through the rain. Lightening and thunder demonstrate Storm/CAUAC’s powerful energies of transformation. Galactic Tone 11 is the energy of dynamic actions that facilitate change.

These powerful unseen energies create within us the longing for safety and the comforts of home. When we are aligned with Divine Will, we may rest in the shelter of the Most High. Through our surrender we have placed ourselves directly under the care of the Divine Creator. A power greater than ourselves serves as our protector. When we seek refuge in the Divine Spirit, the unseen powers of the universe protect us from all dangers seen and unseen.

To all my relations, may we take our comfort in knowing that through our surrender we become as children, gathered close under the wings of the Most High. May our hearts be filled with peace and joy and be opened to receive the gifts of a Divine Love.
