10 Flint/ETZNAB – Truth of Love

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

10 Flint/ETZNAB (Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA)

10 Flint/ETZNAB

10 Flint/ETZNAB

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidens, misunderstandings and gossip.

Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Flint’s symbol is Chawa’ or Castor of the Castor and Pollux Twins in Gemini.  Castor appears in the evening personifying darkness. Pollux then appears in the east at dawn to end the night. Totem is a Flint Knife.  Flint spirit shone a light like the sun and gave the people the Sacred Venus Calendar, fixed the days and promised to watch over the earthlings.  A flint person endeavors to keep that covenant.  Opener of the Way, a creator, innovator, stretches the mind to outside limits of capabilities. Changes the static to the dynamic.  Brings about change, often through separation and destruction.  Beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth as a crystal sword cast down along the path of a lightning flash. The transformer brings things to a head and wipes the slate clean.

Truth of Love

The MULUC trecena guides us through the emotional process of letting go. We were guided to let go of every idea we had about what we think we need to be happy… our most deeply held attachments and the outcome of our dreams. We are learning that through our emotions we share our deepest connections with one another and with the Divine Spirit.

Galactic Tone 10 of manifestation guides us to acknowledge what is real and where we are. Flint/ETZNAB offers us a keen sense of perception. What has been hidden, confusing or unclear can suddenly be cleared away in the light of a new understanding. Like struck flint, we may experience our new Truth as a sudden revelation.

Sometimes it’s hard to face the Truth in all its glaring details. Though, it is the Truth that sets us free as it brings us from the darkness into the light. Regardless of where we may find ourselves, we are never separated from the Divine Love of the Creator whose greatest desire is that we Love and be Loved.

To all my relations, may we know that when we surrender ourselves to the Divine Spirit we are never left empty-handed, but given so much more than we could ever expect for ourselves. May we be opened to the expectations of the Divine Will to receive in full measure the miracles of God’s Love.

9 Earth/CABAN – Letting Go

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

9 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI)

9 Earth/CABAN

9 Earth/CABAN

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.

Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement, of perpetual motion, recycling, regeneration; environmentalists fighting for the underdog. Heron is mentally alert, rational, yet opinionated; has a great faith in people and in the divine plan, holding the magic of ministry, medicine, marketing and matchmaking; healing abilities, especially with crystals; negotiation and mediation energy. Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way. “The Northern Cross is the Tree of Life, Beside the Milky Way River & Perched atop is Guwi’ sguwi, the Cherokee Heron Spirit Bird, comparable to the Egyptian Phoenix. One Myth has it that a Beautiful Young Maiden (the Heron Spirit Bird) fell from the Tree of Life in the Sky Vault, & Found no Place to Land on the Primordial Sea. Turtle came to the Surface of the Water & gave her a Place to Land. She nested & Laid her Cosmic Egg, From which came all Life on Earth.” (Cherokee Astrology: Animal, Medicine in the Stars, Raven Hail)

Letting Go

Tone 9 is a day of peak energy in the 13-day trecena of Offering/MULUC. Muluc is a symbol for the emotions and all water – from the oceans and rivers to the water of our own tears. Muluc guides us to surrender ourselves as an offering – to let go of our control. Galactic Tone 9 presents us with the power to persevere. We are given the patience we need to see the bigger picture, and to know the Truth that we are loved and cared for by a power greater than ourselves.

Earth/CABAN connects us to the perpetual motion of every living thing. When we follow in the footsteps of Caban, we become one with the natural forces of nature. We are able to see our connection in the continuing flow of life, through personal, planetary, and universal cycles within cycles of life, death and regeneration. When we let go, we are empowered as we become one with the sacred flow of life’s perpetual movement.

To all my relations, help me to see where I am still holding on to my own way. Help me to release my attachment to how things should be, so that I may experience in full measure the peace and joy of your abiding Love.

A STORY ABOUT LETTING GO

Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river. The current of the river swept silently over them all — young and old, rich and poor, good and evil — the current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self.

Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current was what each had learned from birth.

But one creature said at last, “I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go, and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.”

The other creatures laughed and said, “Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will throw you tumbled and smashed against the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom!”

But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks.

Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.

And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried, “See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies! See the messiah, come to save us all!”

And the one carried in the current said, “I am no more messiah than you. The river delights to lift us free, if only we dare let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure.”

But they cried the more, “Savior!” all the while clinging to the rocks, and when they looked again he was gone, and they were left alone making legends of a savior.

7 Eagle/MEN – Called to Serve

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

7 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)

7 Eagle/MEN

7 Eagle/MEN

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Called to Service

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I.
Send me
!” Isaiah 6:8

Under the guidance of Eagle/MEN, we are called into service as intermediaries. The role of an intermediary is to intercede on behalf of another as a mediator, go-between, or intervener. We are called as Spirit Warriors to intercede for the greatest good of all.

Galactice Tone 7 represents the inner work of reflection. We are asked to take another look at our plans and intentions. With Eagle’s vision we are prepared to re-assess their value from God’s point of view. We are guided to see how our plans may serve a higher purpose.

Our perspective is changed by a different set of values. What once may have appeared worthy, may no longer stand up under the light of Divine Will.

To all my relations, may I be given the vision to see things through the eyes of the Creator. Help me to see where there is darkness, so that I may bring the Light. May I see how my own plans and dreams may be elevated to their highest purpose in the light of your Divine Will. May I accept with humble gratitude the opportunity to be of service to others.

Entering the Presence of the Divine

The Spirit of the Jaguar receives us into the temple of the most high as we are entering into the peak energies of the Muluc 13-day trecena. On Tone 5 we were guided to investigate to see what is needed. Tone 6 opens a way to find harmony and balance through a conversation – a negotiation.

Muluc has been teaching us how to pray. We learned that we must first surrender ourselves as a sacred offering to be reconciled “as one” with the Creator. We have been shown that when our supplications are offered from the place of our deepest longings, they are received as our prayers of the highest order. For, herein shines the light of our own Divine Spark. Our own passion illuminates our highest purpose and our greatest potential to bring Love to the world.

We know the Truth of our own divinity when we are aligned with the Divine Will of the Creator. We have been prepared to offer our prayers just as Jaguar/IX ushers us into the very presence of God.

To all my relations, may I know that when I bring my prayers and supplications to the Creator, I am kneeling on Holy Ground.  Help me to see the Truth of my divinity, when I surrender my own will to the Divine Will of God.  Help me to hear what you would ask of me.

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

5 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed/I’hya)

5 Reed/BEN

5 Reed/BEN

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeaver to bring peace, harmony, and order to all of their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a log of appreciation, many have a marriage or business problems because of inflexible views and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson of Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe.

Cherokee, Reed I’hya: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini.  Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind.  A trailblazer and leader. Meeting our Needs

The Tzolk’in is the sacred calendar of creation. The 13 Galactic Tones guide us through a process. At step 1 we are guided by inspiration from Spirit to choose an idea or intention that we would desire to bring to life. The following Tones illustrate a sequence of steps for our accomplishment. The Day Sign provides us with a role model – an example of a perspective or an approach that we can follow.

At 5 Reed/BEN, Tone 5 presents the time for our empowerment. Empowerment is defined as an accomplished state of self-responsibility and self-determination. Reed/BEN shows us that the way to be empowered is by seeking our connection to Spirit. All our needs are satisfied as we present them to the Creator through our prayers and offerings. When we know the Truth that Spirit may provide our every need, we will gain a new confidence. We must learn by doing. It is our own responsibility to seek the power of Spirit.

To all my relations, may I be grateful that I never have to walk alone, and that a way to be connected to Spirit is always present and available. When I choose to seek that connection and surrender my own will to the Creator, I am empowered by the Truth that I am given everything I need.

Divine Guidance

The Day Sign of Road/EB represents our daily walk – the path we follow to reach our own destiny. Galactic Tone 4, the Tone of stability, helps us to find our bearings. Under the trecena of Offering/MULUC we are learning how we may be reconciled to God when we surrender ourselves through the sacred exchange of an offering.

As we surrender our will to the Creator, the path of beauty is illuminated by a Divine Light. When we are divinely guided, we come from a place of Love; we are lifted up, empowered and affirmed in our power as a spiritual being. We can see beyond the fear of thinking we are too much, or too little. We are able to move more easily through the circumstances of our lives with a Divine Purpose that serves others as well as ourselves.

When we seek Divine Guidance, we can know that we are never alone. And, we can see how our dreams may serve the greater good of all.

To all my relations, may I be grateful for the Divine Spirit that is present to share my daily walk. May I be grounded in the unconditional love to see how my path might serve to share the light of your Love.

3 Monkey/CHUEN – Offering of Tears

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

3 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

3 Monkey/CHUEN

3 Monkey/CHUEN

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI:  Racoon’s star symbol is Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart. Totem Monkey: The energy of humor, the artisan and craftsmen of the Universal energy. Helps us to lighten up in all situations, was the glyph of the 4th world creation in conjunction with OC so that we would have humor in all of our endeavors. The humor, when added to a serious situation will allow you to have a less destructive pattern of resolution. This is the “Cosmic joke” energy to help us transcend the duality. A life path of comedian, actor, artist, artisan writer, satirist, any path is enhanced with this humor in conjunction with the creative energies.

Offering of Tears

Monkey/CHUEN is the Master of all Arts. Artistic expression takes on many forms, whether it is painting, writing, composing music or one of the thousands of other ways that people express themselves. Art is an outward expression drawn from Spirit. CHUEN guides us to see our offering as a living expression of art that connects us to Divine Spirit.

Under the guidance of the Muluc trecena we are learning about the power of a sacred exchange. Muluc is symbolized by water and is a Day Sign representing the element of Fire. We enter into the presence of the Divine Spirit through the expression of our emotions. Our tears are Holy Water.

The Cherokee symbol of raccoon embodies the yearning for long-lost love. Our feelings that we are alone and somehow disconnected is the source of all suffering. We are reconciled through the offering of our brokenness. Through the expression of our deepest emotions we are fully present where we can acknowledge at a soul level that we are entering into a direct communication with God.

Today is a day to breath life into our offering. Tone 3 is the first day of movement. Our dreams and intentions are brought to life as we set them into motion. Through movement, our dreams and intentions become a living vibration.

To all my relations, through humility and the sorrow of my disconnectedness, may I be reconnected to the Divine. May I know that through my prayers and offerings I am entering into the very presence of God. May I be purified by the water of my own tears.

2 Dog/OC – Offering Love

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

2 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/WOLF/KANA’TI)

2 Dog/OC

2 Dog/OC

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers

Cherokee, WOLF/KANA’TI: Wolf’s symbol is Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visable but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Connecting link between the worlds. One who inspires loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  A teacher, healer, pathfinder and transformer.  Sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. Totem -Dog.  Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death.  This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle.  Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion.  All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.

Offering Love

Through the trecena of MULUC we receive purification and atonement through an offering – a sacred exchange. When we surrender ourselves as an offering, we are reconciled – we are atoned (at one) with the Divine Spirit. As we make ourselves low through the humility of our surrender, we are raised high to the level of divinity.

Dog/OC teaches us how to give and receive love. When we surrender our Love as an offering, we give up our control of it. Made one with the Creator, our resistance to love falls away. We only resist love when we have made a judgement that someone or something is not worthy of our Love. As one with the Creator, we can know that giving love is our single highest purpose.

Galactic Tone 2 teaches us about choices. We are given a choice on how we may direct our energy over the course of the next 13 days. Dog/OC offers us the choice to Love… to love everything unconditionally, and to seek to give our love freely, in the highest order, and without restriction. The Love we have to share is the highest offering we can bring to the Creator.

To all my relations, may I be forgiven for all the times I have resisted sharing my Love. May I SEE YOU in the light of the divinity that we share. May our every exchange becomes a sacred offering of Love so that we may be as one with the Creator.

1 Offering/MULUC – Journey of Gratitude

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC

1 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)

1 Offering/MULUC

1 Offering/MULUC

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.

Journey of Gratitude

We are beginning a new 13-day cycle guided by the Day Sign Offering/MULUC.  Offering/MULUC calls us to make an offering. When we make a sacred offering we are  saying, “you are important and I honor you.”  Muluc guides us to approach our new journey with humility and gratitude. We will be raised up as we submit ourselves to a higher authority.

Making an offering requires that we give up something we treasure. Our time and attention may be our most valuable gift. Our time is required to bless that which is given, and it takes our time to consider what we are grateful for.

With our offering we can give thanks to the Divine Spirit that guides us, to the Grandfathers, Grandmothers who walked this way before, to the four directions, to the up above, the down below and to the heart of our Center.

Galactic Tone 1 is a new beginning. Tone 1 brings the inspiration for the intention we will carry forward. Through our offering we are opened to hear the voice of Spirit as the Sun brings light from the direction of the East.

The Cherokee symbol for this trecena is The River. The River is the power of Spirit that carries us on our journey. We will be transformed as we reach our destination. Like the water that flows to become one with the ocean, we will be transformed into something brand new.

To all my relations, may we offer our time and attention to consider all we have to be grateful for. Through our prayers of thanksgiving may we reside in humble gratitude.

13 Star/LAMAT – Holding Power

13 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)

13 Star/LAMAT

13 Star/LAMAT

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.

Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. Holding Power

Galactic Tone 13 is the final day of our journey through the trecena of Wisdom/CIB. We are capable of more than we were before. Through our powerful experiences and teachings of CIB, we gained a new vision of our potential and shed parts of ourselves that have held us back.

As we look back from where we started we can see new or better ways to manifest our dreams, or we may discover something more worthy. We were created as sparks of the Divine Light for the purpose of bringing Love to the world.

Star/LAMAT brings the energy that multiplies whatever we focus on. LAMAT helps us to see the endless possibilities of being. Starlight shines in all directions. We are glowing in the light of our profound new experiences. Made fertile as the Rabbit, our Love is overflowing. Star cautions us not to give all our Light away.

“Holding Power” is a powerful teaching shared in the Medicine Circle. It was given as a caution after my first Sun/Moon Dance. Over the course of the 4-day ceremony there were many new insights and powerful experiences in Spirit. Dancers were guided not to speak of our experiences for 3 months… to “hold our power.”

Have you ever been so excited about something that you rush to tell the story, only to find it dismissed in some way by the hearer? Suddenly we may struggle to see what we have shared in its original glory. When someone else can’t see what we have seen, we may begin to question ourselves. We can lose the full power of our own experience.

Some things are meant for us alone to know. We are never able to relate the true depth of our experiences. Each must find their own True light. We can only shine a light on a way to find it.

To all my relations, may I be ever-grateful that I am gifted with experiences that are meant for only me.  May I hold these gifts within, so that their beauty may be multiplied as a light to shine the way on the road ahead.

In lak’ech, I am another you

MESSAGE FROM LAMAT:

Your Light shines brightest when your focus is turned within. When you have perfected this, you are as a Star in Supernova – the brightest light in the universe.

SUPERNOVA: A supernova is a stellar explosion that briefly outshines an entire galaxy, radiating as much energy as the Sun or any ordinary star is expected to emit over its entire life span. A star supernovas when it collapses into its core, or when it has been re-ignited.
