Galactic Tone 12: Twelve is a gift of great capacity of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Power of Gentleness

Galactic Tone 12 is the energy of bringing things together. Tone 12 can help us draw meaning from our new wisdom, and to learn how we may best apply what we have learned. Deer is the Day Sign of Spirit Tools.

Deer brings the energy of a powerful gentleness. Gentleness means that we are ‘free from harshness, sternness, or violence.” Though at first we may not equate gentleness with strength, our world shows clear evidence that gentleness can accomplish far more than the power of brute force. Deer brings the Spirit Tools that offer us the ability to move through life’s obstacles with grace.

Gentleness is not the same as weakness, but the silent authority of quietly standing in our own Truth. When we are guided by Love, we can become influencers through the law of attraction. We can become a living demonstration of the power of Love.

As Galactic Tone 12 calls us to reflection, Deer brings the sensitivity and intuition to draw meaning and purpose from the new Truths unfolding.

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe. In the process of ‘fitting in’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others. Transformers can have the ability to send evil intentions telepathically, this is their undoing. From these acts they lose power, easily fall into a victim role and begin to manipulate with a vengeance. A good day to tie all loose ends.

Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the TWINS. Transforming Into Light

Tone 11 supports the process of bringing the work of this 13-day cycle to a resolution. The Wisdom/CIB trecena has been a cycle of profound Spiritual learning. We have been shown that we are loved and guided by the Ancients, and that they too have walked this way before and KNOW life’s struggles. We learned that our darkest secrets hold no power over us when we bring them to the Light. In fact, this Truth can only be learned from our shadow.

We must seat this new wisdom so it may become a lasting part of us. Some final adjustments, clarifications and insights may be in order. This is all part of the process of Galactic Tone 11.

Transformer/CIMI is the helper of all transitions – most powerfully for life, death and rebirth. With new Truth we are reborn into something new. Through any new birth there is constriction, pressure, chaos, and fear of the unknown. As we are able see this as a normal process of change, we can relate to these experiences as something good and positive versus the evidence of some personal failing. Just as a mother knows that the pain of birth is part of her labor, we can come to an understanding that our painful experiences hold the potential of our most potent blessings.

To all my relations, help me to see the Divine purpose of both light and shadow and to know the Truth that EVERY experience on the road of life is meant to guide me home. Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Manifesting Truth

We have been traveling the hard road of life. This is the road we ALL must travel and it is the source of ancient wisdom. New Truths challenge us to look at ourselves in a new light. As we have been guided by Wisdom/CIB, we gained the courage to look at ourselves.

Our journey through the trecena of Wisdom/CIB has guided us to our highest teaching. On Earth, Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge.  Tone 10 of manifestation signals that this cycle of education is completed – this is the day of our initiation. Now is the time to take stock in ourselves. Serpent/CHICCHAN holds magical powers and is known as creature that has an intuitive knowing; we are gifted with new enlightenment. Like graduating seniors, we are armed with a new vision of our potential and the new opportunities that have been opened to us.

At Galactic Tone 10 of Manifestation, what we have focused on now becomes real. We can see how new Truth has changed us. As we have seen the parts of ourselves that don’t serve us, we also see all we are capable of and all we are meant to be.

This is a time of celebration and gratitude.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Cultivating Our Dreams

We are called to participate in the Earth magic that transforms a Seed from a dormant grain into a full-grown plant.  We are guided by the archetype of Seed/KAN to see our place as co-creators in the world. Seed/KAN holds the dynamic potential for us to create something new.

From the womb of all Creation, AKBAL, we have been given a new seed of inspiration. Our seed’s germination depends on both internal and external conditions.  Before it can grow a seed must be fully developed to contain the embryo that defines its potential and the store of food reserves that will provide for its sustenance. The most important external factors include the right temperature, water, oxygen, or air and sometimes light or darkness.

Galactic Tone 9 reminds us that developing  new ideas into potent seeds requires our attention and patience. Seed encourages our ‘profound investigations’ to see all it is meant to become and to discern the right conditions for its cultivation so we may know what is needed for our seed to be brought to harvest.

Seed helps us to prepare ourselves for the miracle of new growth, so we may become the fertile soil needed for our seed to grow. We must take all the factors into consideration – the condition of our garden, the nourishment we are able to receive from our surrounding environment. We must be in right relation with the world around us.

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. A New Awakening

Through the Wisdom/CIB trecena we have been traveling on a path to higher learning. We have been navigating new and unexplored territory. The purpose of the CIB trecena is to complete us. From our journey through the darkness of the unknown, we have learned that our guidance must come from something outside of ourselves. This is the power that completes us.

Over the past 7 days we have been guided by the wisdom of the ancient ones. We have been encouraged to persevere as we were made keenly aware of the parts of ourselves that need to go. Our fears and insecurities fall away as we realize we are under the care and guidance of a higher authority. Our highest teaching revealed that our dreams are born from a Divine Plan.

Today is the day we have been prepared for. Akbal arrives with the power for our personal transformation. Akbal represents the direction of the West. On the Medicine Wheel, the West in the place of our earthly walk and “the hard road of life.” As the torchbearer who illuminates our path, Akbal brings Truth we don’t have to learn from our own experience.

At Galactic Tone 8, we find a new place of harmony and balance. We have been opened to all possibility through our surrender to Divine Will. We are prepared for a new awakening.

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.

Surrender

As we are guided by Wisdom/CIB, Day Sign Wind brings energy for an inquiring mind. Tone 7 guides us to reflect on the Divine Will of the Creator. To be aligned with Divine Will requires us to surrender.

Surrender means that we completely give up our own will to subject our thoughts, ideas, and deeds to the will and teachings of a higher authority. Only by yielding our own will can our divine purpose be revealed.

To release our control requires our faith. Through faith in something greater than ourselves, we can find the peace of acceptance. Things don’t have to happen exactly as we have imagined. We are opened to something far better as we no longer have to rely on our own understanding.

When we submit to Divine Will, we may have confidence that our footsteps are guided, no matter where our paths may lead.

To all my relations, help me to let go of my worldly desires. Help me to surrender my dreams and fears into the loving hands of the Creator so I may find peace and direction.

Galactic Tone 6: Flow. Six is responsiveness, and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg. In Mayan is the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth. The beginning of each new era, this star in Orion appears with the rising Sun, heralding the creation of a new World cycle.  Cherokee, IMIX- Totem-Dragon. The energy to understand all things sacred; creation energy, connection for visions, to learn the mysteries of the Universal Knowledge. The dragon carries the source energy of life, revered in ancient cultures for power and wisdom.

Self Acceptance

As we come to Galactic Tone 6 we are reaching the peak energies of this 13-day cycle. Our beginning steps, like climbing a pyramid, required much effort. We begin to hit a stride on Day 6, as we are nearing the crest of our climb. At the top of the pyramid, we are prepared to receive the highest teaching under the guidance of Wisdom/CIB.

CIB connects us to the wisdom of the Ancients. Crocodile/IMIX takes us back to the beginning of all things. Here IMIX is able to share the purpose of all creation. Crocodile shows us that our true genius is found when we follow our hearts. IMIX would desire us to know how wondrously we were made. We can see that the dreams that drive us were meant for us from the beginning and that we were empowered to make them so.

We can also see that the only thing that prevents us from manifesting our dreams has been the limitations we’ve placed upon ourselves. While this Truth can be empowering, it also brings the need for us to accept ourselves where we are. We will not be left here to flounder. In spite of our own self-imposed shortcomings we have the wisdom of all time to guide us.

Crocodile embodies the instinct to be fiercely protective. Even in our failures, we may know that unseen forces are seeing to our security. We can let go of our fear of change – and the fear of our ability to change – as we are able to see we have unseen forces in our corner who won’t abandon us. Instead, IMIX sees us through the eyes of all possibility.

Galactic Tone 6 brings the teaching of responsiveness. We are going through changes as new parts of ourselves are being revealed through this trecena. To receive the new, the broken parts of ourselves must be let go. As we learn the art of rebalancing through the chaos of change, we will emerge stronger and more adept at staying on course.

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

Day of Enlightenment

Sun/Ahau is considered a very sacred day in the Maya culture. It is a day for celebration and remembrance of the Ancestors.

As our source of light, Sun/AHAU illuminates the path to our goals and aspirations. Through the Sun we are given the gift of enlightenment. We can make a new start as we are made able to see new possibilities.

Both CIB and AHAU are Day Signs of completion. Their purpose is to make us whole. On Galactic Tone 5 we stand in the light of Sun/AHAU, our hero and protector, who brings us to a new awakening.

The time has come to celebrate and to be renewed through the light of love.

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.

Regeneration

On the stabilizing forces of Galactic Tone 4, Storm/CAUAC moves through to prepare us for new growth. Storm is the Day Sign of lightening and thunder that can shake us to the core and blow the dead leaves from our branches. CAUAC brings the gift of Nitrogen that nourishes us to grow. Though there may be some initial damage, the process serves to make us more stable and resilient.

Storm/CAUAC offers dramatic evidence of unseen forces that flow through and around us. Cauac is capable to ignite us as “lightening in the blood”. We are energized by the direct transfer of life force.

We may be shaken, but are prepared to grow stronger as the end result. As we are stabilizing our connection to Spirit the Divine Spark of Cauac initiates the process of regeneration. In biology, regeneration is the process of renewal, restoration, and growth that makes us resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage.

To all my relations, may we be encouraged that unseen forces are working on our behalf to empower us through the process of regeneration. Prepare us for the dramatic changes that may take place.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utlized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidens, misunderstandings and gossip.

Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Flint’s symbol is Chawa’ or Castor of the Castor and Pollux Twins in Gemini.  Castor appears in the evening personifying darkness. Pollux then appears in the east at dawn to end the night. Totem is a Flint Knife.  Flint spirit shone a light like the sun and gave the people the Sacred Venus Calendar, fixed the days and promised to watch over the earthlings.  A flint person endeavors to keep that covenant.  Opener of the Way, a creator, innovator, stretches the mind to outside limits of capabilities. Changes the static to the dynamic.  Brings about change, often through separation and destruction.  Beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth as a crystal sword cast down along the path of a lightning flash. The transformer brings things to a head and wipes the slate clean.

Spirit University

We are students in the trecena of higher education. The professor is of the highest caliber and is prepared with the wisdom of the ancients. There won’t be time for fooling around. CIB’s intent is to get to the heart of the matters that hold us back. Though it’s all business, we are unconditionally accepted and nurtured.

On Galactic Tone 3 of Movement we are ready to take action. Like struck flint, Etznab can deliver information that cuts to the bone. Whatever we will learn or see will be made crystal clear to us, like the reflection in the obsidian mirror.

We may be guided into a journey to our own distant history to see long-held beliefs that still need to go. We deserve to take OURSELVES seriously. That childlike nature can serve us when we release the sorrows of our first disappointments. Whatever has held us back, Flint/ETZNAB will reflect in high resolution.

We can expect a miracle, but we still have to do the work. The bright idea we chose as our intention, may require a whole set of pre-requisites that weren’t counted on.

This is homework. CIB challenges our critical thinking and process – not to judge us, but to help us address what is needed. Flint/Etznab reflects the Truth we need to see. Do not be disheartened. Remember we are working with the Ancient ones. Their knowledge far exceeds our own understanding. They know what to do.

To all my relations, as I begin to move forward may I know that our footsteps are guided by a higher authority. May I offer myself patience and understanding and know I am worthy.
