Greetings Beloved Kin,

An Altar is one place where we always belong. No matter the language or tradition, when we’re reaching for the Agency of a Power Greater than  our Self, we call upon the Highest One Source we know. 

Reed/BEN holds Position 13, the symbol of Answered Prayers, carried out for the Intention of Divine Intervention through our Divine Rituals and Sacred Ceremonies. We call out for Light in the Darkness of a Human experience. 

As the “hollow bone,” Reed is the Guiding Light for creating the ties that bind the Circle of Life. The glyph illustrates an Altar with two channels of Light shining from Above. Below the Altar are the thatched prayer mats with places for two to Kneel as One. 

Researching world religions has become a favorite pastime. As different as they may be from the “faith of my fathers,” I always find the most important Truth is just the same in ways to carry out the Golden Rule and to See and Honor a Power Greater than our self.

 

The similarities and different traditions have been a blessing from every scale of discernment. There are many beautiful ways to express our Devotion to a Divine Creator, and our Intention to Love. 

In the last round I was drawn to learning more about the traditions of the Hebrew faith. They have a prayer for EVERYTHING. I was blessed just to know how vigilant they are in offering their prayers on behalf of the whole. I love the sound of the Shofar that is acknowledged as the Sound of the Creator’s Voice. Two favorite everyday prayers I’ve adopted in my own practice are:

1. A morning prayer before our feet hit the floor, to give thanks to awaken to another day with our Spirit in our living body on Earth. (I learned that it’s also a healthy thing to sit for a moment before walking from the bed.) I can’t help but think of that prayer now when I get out of  bed.
2. A prayer every time we go the bathroom in gratitude that our body is working for us. You can appreciate this all the more if you’ve every experienced a time when you couldn’t go. Our body knows when we express our Love for all the ways it serves our Life. Our hands and feet deserve some Love. It’s a miracle the groceries that can be carried with a little finger. We owe it to others going without to appreciate the blessing. 

I love the chants of the Eastern traditions for the peace of mind they bring, and I love the science of sound frequencies that restore our equilibrium. My own faith has been blessed by many different ways to carry out the Same Divine Meaning and Purpose. 

The Most Important Light shared by Reed/BEN is the Truth of Answered Prayers. Humans are never perfect. There’s no tradition that’s not been corrupted by a Human Being that, then demands that there’s is the Only Way. That’s one reason I follow a solitary path. Any path is only as good as the Human is capable to carry it out in Humility and Unconditional Love for the Whole. I’ve never depended on an “organization” to tell me what I should believe. I’m grateful for the Same Divine Reasons that are represented by each one, no matter how their Human member’s fail to agree in practice. We all fail. 

Reed/BEN is a day the Maya observe as Time to bless the home and check in on the neighbors. Belonging is the example we can share with the children that will always be a blessing in the future. When we love our neighbor as our self, there will always be a place where we are greeted with Love. Reed/BEN raises the Intention to be of service to one another on behalf of the children. BEN is that sense of responsibility we inherit when we become the leader of a family. 

The Reed is the symbol of the “hollow bone” that opens the channel for Divine Inspiration. It comes with the advice to “lead with a garden hose, and not a steel pipe.” We can’t brow beat others to agree with our own Truth. We’re lucky if we’re “right” half the time. And, no one can tell someone else what they “believe” and no one else will ever know the Truth we uphold in a Sanctuary within. The ONE Truth that matters to EVERYONE the SAME, is the Promise of Answered Prayers and the Truth of Unconditional Love. There is no Human authorized as the “thought police” to judge the Truth we know in our Heart. 

The two prayer mats offer a place for our Self, and a place for “the other.” We are intended to humble our self in Divine Agreement that for all our differences, we come to the same Divine Place and reach the same for a Highest Power we hold Faith to Know.” 

Tone 10 raises the Intention of Manifestation. We have to claim the Truth we know by our own experience before we see the Effect in the future. Manifestation is always the question as a Human challenge. With the Help of a Divine Hand, we’ll know we can claim our the Love for One Another the Instant we open our Heart to others for a Divine Cause and claim the Beauty of the Whole.

We can offer belonging to every tradition of Faith that serves the same Divine Purpose, and be blessed by Love that is expanded to include the whole. I’m more than happy to know ALL the prayers that are offered in Harmony and Equity for the whole. With so many different Times and Places in the world, we can claim the Truth of millions of prayers carried out in every moment we Remember. 

I’m grateful for everyone that passes this way, just to know there are others reaching just like me. And, I’m grateful a Divine Creator is Answering Every One.

The children are inclined to walk in our footsteps, and to also see what we do versus what we say. They WILL see us fail. It’s what we DO after we fail that they will remember. And, by Divine Design, they will also see how we are transformed every time we kneel in Humility to our own limitations. 

Children can teach us a thing or two. They were born to love each other and to make believe their Divine Dreams as One. We’re beginning our Life all over again. We can begin from where we started, before we learned there was any difference between one and another. We’re wiser now, knowing the Sacred Right to follow our Heart.

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all o their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible vies and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe. Bless or repair your house.
