4 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

4 Dog / OC – Miracles of Light: Day 4 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Dog / OC

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 brings the energy to Stabilize a new climb of Spiritual Growth. Related to the cube, the most stable of forms, Tone 4 offers orientation, a sense of direction, and the parameters within we are capable to manifest our Intention. The Deer/MANIK trecena is inspiring us to serve the Whole as an Agent of Divine Authority.

Dog/OC resides with Monkey/CHUEN at the center of the Tzolk’in. Together, they reflect characteristics central to the Creator that were shared with Humanity. The Day Signs guide a way to accomplish each Intention.

Dog/OC is the Day Sign of Unconditional Love, and Monkey/CHUEN is a Creator. Our Divine Life Purpose and Soul Mission is to be Creators of Unconditional Love.

4 Dog/OC offers the direction to build a foundation on Love. Residing in the North, the Direction of the Ancestors and our connection to their Wisdom. This is a day to Honor the Old Ones that preserved the Sacred Wisdom that is passed down as our Inheritance.

GLOBAL BURNER DAY:  Burner days mark a release of built-up residual energy that can generate stress that impacts our relationships. The Fire Ceremony is carried out by the Mayan priest for the purpose of restoring Harmony and Balance in the Community. 4 Dog/OC re-establishes the solid ground of Love as our Foundation. Dog/OC demonstrates the Unconditional Love we are meant to share as our Meaning and Purpose.

4 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Living as a Creator: Day 4

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the catalyst, the Spark that Lights the Fuse to Life Force itself. This is a day of “Lightning in the Blood.” This is a very important day to pay attention to your gut instincts. Seed and the Serpent go together. Seed is dormant until it’s placed in the ground where it is ignited with a Force of Life.

Our Higher Self relates to Sources of Consciousness as its way of understanding, knowing that every Living Thing holds a Consciousness of the Creator.  Chicchan is an Archetype that personifies this very Force of Life.

The Wind/IK trecena is guiding us to explore our Higher Self as the Divine Creator. We’re drawn to discern two sides of our Self. Wind is showing us how to Create from the Higher Self, the One who is in Atonement with the Divine Creator. Our Lower Self can make the Choice of Offering itself to permit this Divine Transfer of Power.

Today is the Global Burner, a release of pent up energy. All Global Burners are on Tone 4 of Stability (4 Sun/AHAU, 4 Eagle/MEN, 4 Dog/OC, and 4 Serpent/CHICCHAN).  The Maya observe Global Burners with Sacred Fire Ceremonies, for the purpose of restoring Harmony in the Community. Each season offers a day for coming together in a Mutual Intention to leave personal resentments, disappointments, and any resistance to Love in the past. We might observe this day by writing the concerns we would release on a piece of paper, and offering it to the Element of Fire.

4 Serpent/Chicchan is a is a turning point in our Relationship with our Higher Self. Through a catalytic force, Chicchan can restore the Unity of Body and Soul.

4 Sun / AHAU – Discovering Our Dynamic World: Day 4

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Sun / AHAU

4 Sun / AHAU

Greetings Kin,

Our New World takes on the stability of form as the center of the 4 Directions. Tone 4 relates to the most stable of geometric forms, the cube, which presents the dimensions of height, length, depth and breadth. Tone 4 sets the parameters, rules, and place for the manifestation of a new Intention.

4 Sun/Ahau is revered by the Maya as the day on which the Mayan world was born. Like the Creation Story of the Bible, on the first day “God created the Heavens and the Earth,” and brought them to Life with the Spoken Words, “Let there be Light.”

The parameters of Earth were given as our own Place of Becoming. The illumination of the Sun would stabilize a marriage between Heaven and Earth to support our Life, Happiness, and Illumination.

AHAU is the Lord of the Tzolk’in. Each day we are given heralds new Light from the Sun. Sun/AHAU is the Day Sign of Light that illuminates our highest aspirations. Sun/AHAU opens the connection to the Ancestors, offering Divine Wisdom for our new Spiritual Growth.

4 Sun/AHAU – Global Burner Day: Today is one of 4 Global Burner Days that include 4 Sun/AHAU, 4 Serpent/CHICCHAN, 4 Dog/OC, and 4 Eagle/MEN. These 4 Kin are observed by the Maya with Sacred Fire Ceremony for the Intention of burning off residual energy and restoring Harmony to the Community.  Global Burners occur on the 30th day of each Season of the Tzolk’in, 65 days apart. Burners support the Intention of Stability (4) and serve to alleviate imbalance or stress. 4 AHAU completes the 8th Uinal and the Sacred Intention of the Divine Justice of Harmony and Equity.
