The Hearth is the Cherokee Name for AKBAL, representing the Sacred Fire tended through the Night. A Legion of Angels and the Communion of Saints watch over us from the other side. They stir the embers of our Dreams into a full-blown fire when it’s God’s Time.
The NOAA Spaceweather Enthusiasts Dashboard offers the NASA Model Forecast from a massive solar eruption. It appears to be a Solar Flare from the emerging Sunspot 4274. It’s one of 3 active sunspots that turned the corner, and from the NOAA Coronograph image that includes the farside, there’s something big yet to come into earth-facing view.

POSSIBLE EARTH-DIRECTED CME: A CME that left the sun during the late hours of Oct. 23rd might reach Earth this weekend. NASA models suggest a direct hit on Oct. 26th, bringing a chance of G1-class geomagnetic storms. This is a low confidence forecast. Several overlapping CMEs left the sun on Oct 23rd, and they were tricky to untangle.
Canis Major – the Big Dog Constellation: Canis Major belongs to the southern celestial hemisphere and is visible at latitudes between 60°N and 90°S. Observers from the Southern Hemisphere can see it between November and April. In the Northern Hemisphere, the constellation appears from December to March and rises so low above the horizon that the southern part of it is barely visible. STRONG GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A fast-moving stream of solar wind hit Earth on Sept. 14th, sparking an unexpectedly strong G3-class geomagnetic storm. Overnight (Sept. 14-15), auroras appeared in the USA as far south as Colorado. The storm is subsiding now, but it’s not over. Minor (G1) to moderate (G2) storms are possible throughout Sept. 15th.
