THESE ARE NOT AURORAS: Montana is a good place to see auroras, so on Feb 17th when Jane Horton of Helena MT saw towering lights in the night sky, she naturally wondered. “Are these auroras?” Not exactly:

Mary and Joseph traveled between 70 and 90 miles to Bethlehem, depending on the route. This is a long way for anyone, let alone a woman nine months pregnant. The 40 Days of Lent is a journey of sorrows. It’s easy to focus on our own suffering and our fears of tomorrow. When we bear the suffering for a Divine Cause, the Offering will be more than enough.

The Offering of highest value is Time. By our nature we focus on the “object of our affection”. The object of our affection can be seen clearly in the measure of our thoughts. Tracking our thoughts is a process of metacognition. Logarithms are a compilation of data that reflects what’s on our mind in order of relevance and personal priorities.
When we make God the Highest Object of our Affection, Love will be multiplied to abundance. 2 is the symbol of the Choice we make, After we receive the Light. Human discernment is based on duality. We consider one way or another.

THE SUNSPOT REPORT FROM MARS: Almost every day, NASA’s Perseverance rover on Mars looks up the sun. It’s a great way to check the air for dust. Today’s image caught something more–a large sunspot:

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.”
Eyes were created to take in the Light. Our eyes hold the Power to express our feelings and emotions. Our eyes are opened by the Light of the Sunrise. Eyes are a primary focus. When we lose sight, our other senses expand to serve the purpose as a sense of “spatial consciousness.” The Eye of the whale is what engages us with the “humanity” of a living creation far beyond the realm of human’s everyday experience.
The “evil eye” refers to the “dead eyes” of a zombie that only sees the source of their next meal. The eyes convey the Truth of our authenticity. We can see Love through the eyes.
The Apostles were drawn to follow the Compassionate Love that shone from the eyes of Jesus. Written in the Seed, our Heart’s Desire is the Light of Love shining from the eyes that wholly see us as we are. Words can’t express what is experienced when we’re Seen Through the Eyes of Love. That’s the Love we’ll climb a mountain to know.
February 18, 2026 is Ash Wednesday. The Season of Lent begins with the ashes of our sins that the Fire burned away. We stepped through a Ring of Fire to take up our Staff and Follow. God ordered the Time for us to See Clearly. Deer/MANIK begins a journey to See through the “Eyes of our Heart”.
The Mission of Life: To Love, Guide, and Protect the Whole
When we make God the object of our Highest Affection we are empowered to rise above worldly limitations. The Hand that grasps the Truth of God’s Love is bound to a Higher Calling.
